How ro use the fishnet?

Have produced one fishnet while upgrading lobster pool. Since it isn't possible to draw the fishnet into the lake, I presume it is to be used in the lobster pool? Once that one is ready for use?

I just unveiled my net maker and I put the net right into one of my fishing spots, not the lobster pool.

If I understand this right, you make a lobster trap, put it in a fishing spot, go back and check the net (which might be a specific time period, the fishing net I cast has a waiting period of 21/22 hours), collect the lobster then put it in the pool, where it takes 6 hours to cook. Then you get it from the pool so you can make the soup or pizza.

Boy, after typing all that out, the Smelters and jewelry don't seem that bad anymore, with regards to the time it all takes.

Thanks! So I have to put net and trap in the same fishing spot? I suppose I have to wait until upgrade is finished which needs another 7 hours [sic] didnt expect that long waiting time.... Pity

you put a net in one spot....a trap in another. Both have different wait times. Lobster gets you one tail per net it seems....the nets bring a few pieces of fish ( I think I have got three for each net...but not paying that close attention really...).

Will let you know once the lobster pool has upgraded, for the moment it isn't possible to place neither lobster trap nor mystery net in a fishing spot. Keep fingers crossed :)

Edit: it works! Had to restart my device et voila, the gear is placed :) thanks for your help!

That beginner's net received upon unwrapping the net maker is the free "Mystery Net" they give you, not a regular fishing net. I've no idea how long a fishing net takes to catch fish.

My regular net that I cast a few hours agi still hs 16 hours to go . . . . :(
