You clearly mark your TH, the issue is us people's who want gold shiny stuff miss your flags because if the lovely purple liquid and glittering things locked away in your camp. :p
It is not about reading the signs. Blame your weak defense or don't have full storages.
Goblins pay no heed to your pathetic signage.
Your attempts at misdirection are no match for a well disciplined and illiterate horde...

I recall when I attacked someone when i first started farming. I only quickly scanned their base and saw a town hall with gaps in the walls around it, so I dropped all my troops just kind of assuming the storages were in the center of the base. Immediately after doing so, I looked at the bottom corner of his base and saw all his resources there with a sign made from walls that read "free". Now I carefully study a base before I attack it.
