There Would Be a Start a Clan option in Global Chat. When You Press it
There Would appear a tab Where Clashers Can Join you.
At least 10 Members needed to start a Clan.

So The Tab Remains in Global Chat till u find 9 players in Your Global. How Many will Join Can Be Set 50 will Be Maximum.

If You have played Clash royale It will be the same tab when you look for a freindly battle in Clash Royale
and
To Make this Idea Hopper Proof.
The Joining Members after leaving the clan Cannot Request for troops For 3 hours after.
You can Decide who shall Join Your Clan permission is needed
and
if you disagree then simple you
"don't have to" Join that clan and get the Cooldown for 3 hours Simple.

I have a lvl 2 Clan it Once Reached 7 War Win Streak.

All it sounds like is adding an unnecessary step for recruiting off global.

Well to be honest it is unnecessary because think about it, essentially your idea is to recruit people off global. All you're doing is adding a button that appears in the global chat which makes it one click easier to join a clan, but the drawback is people who join are forced to stay in the clan for 30 days. The one thing I would agree with you on would be that it'll be "hopper-proof," but it would also make recruiting so much harder.

It would ruin new clans, because noone would like to join since you cant leave in next month.

my opinions
1)will kill clans,since if people want to leave they cannot for 30 days....they'd probably stop playing or not bother which is worse that the current global recruiting situation imo...even if the leader can kick,its simply an unnecessary bother for a lot of people.
2)this will kill req and leave clans and you cannot donate troops to other players to help them for war attacks else you'll need to stay there for an entire month... no one will do that
3)simply put,when people have an argument with the leader,they usually quit...this wont be possible with your idea and will cause a lot of headaches in the clan.

Who would join a clan they couldn't leave for 30 days? And you want to recruit your entire clan from global?! Not a great idea.

It it takes a while to build a good clan. Have patience. Try getting friends and family to play. But forcing people to stay in a clan for 30 days just won't work. No one will join.

Still its My Duty to Reply and clarify so

1)Why Would it kill Clans. The 1st option is still there and you don't have use this feature. From the tone of your post you sound like a hopper.

2) I think You are a hopper and only a hopper would not Join and Use this option. Could care less about req & leave Clan.

3)Not if you are a leader I agree there can be arrguments but all can be discussed before forming a clan simple No One Is Forcing You to Join and forcing you to leave your " req & leave Clan " .

All in all your problems are not even problems for others.

I think Most of us Will Join. I would Join if I Found a Good Clasher in Global Chat. With Discussions about how the clan will be run and my ranking I think I will have no problems staying 30 days.

What about sister clans? You couldn't go from one to another for troops or for some chat.
Looks like you have encountered this, but the solution is not changing the way game works, but you trying to solve it on your own.

Then let me ask you this why do you need a new clan when you already can war in your 2 or 3 sister clan.

Normally when I see a post with the title, "Best.Idea.is.Here" I am skeptical.

While it is true this feature may control clan hoppers, the main question is why would you want somebody to be forced to stay in a clan they clearly don't want to be in? This will only cause a nuisance to some and I'm positive there will be a handful of players who will try things that could get them kicked out of the clan: rudeness, terrible donation, attacking wrong or not at all in wars. So if kicking is an option to break the 30 days requirement to leave a clan, expect to see people trying everything.

Sub-clans would also come to mind. There are multiple players who have several clans they visit, having a longer period before you can go back to your other clan would also be bothersome to them.

Also, there are players who makes a clan, but then stops playing the game. You would be stuck in an inactive clan.

This feature will be used to form a clan with agreement amongst members.

When you post an idea here you should expect feedback both positive and negative. The tone in your responses and not accepting criticism will not help your cause. Name calling of any kind is against forum rules and is certainly not going to help promote your idea. No matter how bad it is. I suggest you read forum rules very carefully before attack anyone else's opinion.

By all means, I would not join a different clan, I've been in the same one for years, but as this is an option for Global, you are bound to find a lot of players who are not as committed to staying in a clan that long.

1)Yeah so they can be careful who to join or even use the feature which will be great according to me.

2)I'm not saying that there isn't a hopper problem and I don't think I will find many who aren't committed because that's how the feature is designed and will be used.

3) Gameplay problems I doubt it. Its an agreement between clashers. You simply can ignore it if you don't want to use it.
and supercell may add it because I think it has its merits.

No it's not. There's no reasonable minimum time to be forced to stay in a clan. If I join and don't like what I see, I'm gonna leave. I'm not gonna sit on my hands for two days, and if you're gonna try to make me, I'm gonna do everything I can to get kicked out

Though it's abundantly clear by OPs replies that they're not interested in any opinion that contradicts their own, so this is all I'll say on the issue

The ability to create a clan right on global seems redundant. Especially since you apparently need a minimum of ten members to actually start it through global. Good luck with that one. Why would I do that when I can create a clan without this feature and accept as many or as few people as I want? As for the 30 day rule...well, you can see above how I feel about 2 days

When something looks smells and tastes like something you wouldn't want to do any of those with than it probably is that thing.




I'm refering to cabbage ofc.

I've seen this idea pop up a number of times, and it's really confusing to me, because it is such a bad idea. This definitely falls into the "absolutely never" category.

Several things.

What if someone joins this clan. Now, I do not know how much you know about most clans, but the recruiter goes crazy for two hours recruiting to his clan - gets five clashers to join - then goes offline and is never back on again. If I joined xxbeastbodexx in his "Best Clan" I am required to stay for 30 days even if he and the other clashers go inactive? That won't be much fun. I think I will quit too.

Next. You realize how many clans I once joined and immediately got "So are you hot?" Why would I want to stay?

Next - it is hard to build a clan. I will not recommend doing it unless you have hours each day to be in global or you have connections.

Although I dont think the idea adds value to the recruiting process, one aspect that did appeal to me was how it would form a bunch of Roach Motels for hoppers. Hoppers go in but they dont come out! Sweet!

Locking in members for 30 days is am immediate killer for the idea. So they have to become disruptive to make the leader kick them?

Surely, you knew someone who plays clash of clans when you start? Ask if you can join their clan.

No one can join without your "permission" you yourself are the best judge that who do you want in your clan.

The 30 day clause is there because the current system is there and is abused by half the players
Their main motive being request for free troops just to leave after and other reasons.
This is a option which will surely not be used by those players I'm sure of it. That is why this is going to work.

I have, yet I don't remember seeing that feature, then again CR isn't really a game for me, It is too much a Pay2Win game for my taste. (and it is too much of a bully game.)

Here I'm guessing, but the 30 days is only for the initialy 10 people you need to start the clan?
I also guess that leaders can kick any of the 9 players that are forced to stay in the clan for those 30 days and that the leader/creator can't leave the clan for those 30 days as well.
So for better and worse you are stuck together. They can be the most annoying players in the world and no one can kick them or do anything about that. (If you want to force them to stay in the clan then it is fair enough that you can't kick them or anything for those 30 days.) Here is a question: "How will you deal with people that doesn't understand boundaries. Like the question Cilakila asked: "Why should a girl stay in a clan that ask if she is hot as some of the first things they ask her?"

I'm also guessing that the 30 days (in prison) isn't for people that joins later, so they might go if the clan isn't what they expected or were promised it to be. So your clan will be as every other clan after the 30 days from the beginning?

2)and for your second part of the reply I have a lvl 2 Clan which once reached 7 War Win Streak. Do you still Consider that I dont know how to run a Clan. Its Just No one Joins.

1) you cant find 9 others like that in global on 1 go, IMPOSSIBLE
2)You have lvl 2 clan, that means you are not in the leadership for long, the fact that you had 7 streak doesnt make your clan better or you better leader.

I think you might find it hard to get 10 people to sign up in a global chat session, then again I haven't looked at how global are these days. So I don't know....

None of them is. While it makes your progress to go faster, you still need to know how to play and have to have some skills. You dont have to pay to get to the top, only it is harder then.

I want to be a leader of a Clan because I'm a good Clasher and can advice my clan members and Mainly because to Create a International Clan Where Promotions are fair.

I, personally, am not a fan of the 30 days rule. If were to join a clan and not be able to leave for a whole month, I would just not be active and/or quit the game. But that's just me.

Any time at all is unreasonable.

For all anyone could know, the nice reasonable people that they meet in global could turn out to be raving racist, misogynist, religious fundamentalist bigots. Or, which is worse, they could offer free co. It would be unacceptable to be locked into a clan with such people IMO.

An angry trapped hopper can screw up a clan in 7 days easily. Especially a brand new one. Probably do it in one day if the clan is only that old. Im sorry but you are going to have to drop any sort of restriction on movement. The rest of your idea might work but only for a guy trying to get his first few guys and he is going to need some lucky hits.

what if instead of trapping guys trying to force them to be good members the fact that everyone can come and go as they please allows for watching to see who decides to stay under those circumstances. Then you are getting your first guys that are there because they want to be. Unless you get guys that want to be in the clan there is no chance for it so thats the sort of thing you want to filter for.

This is gonna sound a little antagonistic, but I'm hoping I can make a point here. Do you want someone here to come to your clan for even 24 hours just to show you how absolutely horrible it can be to have someone stuck with you that doesn't want to be there? Someone locked into your clan that does nothing but curse, shout slurs at everyone and fill cc requests with wallbreakers and goblins? Because you would get that

ok. After all the Criticism about the restriction I came up with a different kind of restriction how about anyone who leaves the Clan after using the feature Cannot Request for troops for 3 days?

Then they will go for the "annoy everyone till we get kicked" option. Just so they get past that restriction.

If you then put the restriction on kicked players as well, we will see a whole new type of trolls on global that lures people into a clan promising them "a pot of gold" just to kick them 2 sec after they joined the clan.

Let me first get something clear. The whole post is a big "what if". You see, this is a imaginary idea that you want in the game, so of course there is going to be imaginary issues that fellow browsers will post. Actually, "imaginary issues" isn't the right word, their replies and ideas to your thread should be known as realistic reasoning. That is, we imagine the idea actually in the game, and think about what would happen if we were in the situation.

And so far, their reasoning and responses have been quite helpful and realistic. I've been reading through the comments and they basically highlight the concerns that I would have for the idea.

I'll give it to you, your idea is somewhat original. However, I do not believe that it will make the game better or friendlier. Apologies for being blunt, but as you appreciate constructive criticism, I aim at making my post as helpful and though-provoking to you as possible.

To me, it seems unnecessary. There's a subsection in the clash of clans forums dedicated to requiting for clans for a reason. As a dev has explained before, there are tons of servers for global chats. You can join the chat in one server, leave, join again and be in an entirely different server. Thus, posting a recruitment request on global is quite pointless. It's probably going to just be a bunch of people spamming chat with their own clan recruitment. If you are desperate for a clan to stay, go to the forums instead.

What is my point? It's that the idea is just an extra step that might not achieve it's goal. It can breed a whole new levels of trolls, both the recruiters and the joiners. When there is already a section dedicated to clan recruitment on the forums, there is no need to have this option in-game.

i have read your post and the solution you have suggested that to restart the app and change Global again and again this is no secret at least i knew it.
i have tried recruiting in forums as well but it didn't work as well. so i wonder if you are satisfied with the current situation or Maybe you already have a good Clan is that why you don't like the idea? please do tell.

I have joined a clan a month before. Before that, I roamed from clan to clan trying to situate myself.
Whether someone is happy with their clan or not is more or less irrelevant. There is already a "suggested clans" tab in-game.

If you can't find good clans on the forum, there is much lower chance that you will in global chat. People are jumping around between servers, spammers are doing their stuff, and if we have another option to allow players to advertise their own clan (not that they don't anyways) with this join/reject option, it's just going to complicate things.

Posts on the forum will stay there, and they will be maintained and will be edited/deleted if need be. Chats on global servers are the exact opposite. It's full of trolls, inappropriate behavior, and spam. Adding an option for an official invitation isn't "useless", it's just "unnecessary".

I think not to interrupt in this kind of things.Because this kind of stupid update could ruin clan.😁

Yeah sure��& brianhotshot I still don't see what's your problem with the idea itself all you are doing is pointing out the existing problems.

The point is that this idea will have little (if not negative) impact on the game itself as global chat is a mess already. It is also quite frankly pointless as the Forum already has a section for this.

If the forum isn't helping you, there is much less chance that global chat will.

Yes and that's where I will disagree with you I think Global chat will be helpful with this feature around.
