Those little changes

I noticed some unannounced changes here and there, wondering if it is intentional.
- change farm name by tapping on it in statistic board (make it more difficult to play on small screen device)
- frogs jump out of the pond (I didn't know the pond is connected to the river :()
- "Someone likes your farm" now changed to "<Farm name> likes your farm". <Farm name> is my GC friend.
- Friend list does not go back to top when switch back from another tab

Anyone notices something else not already discussed (tab stays up, avatar in shops...)?

I have noticed a couple of very strange things. Firstly my daughter hasn't played for over three weeks, too busy at work and now away on holiday. Her shop has been empty all this time but this morning has three purchaser avatars in it. Same goes for a friend of mine who started Hay Day and gave up playing three months ago. Her shop has been empty and her farm inactive ever since. This morning her shop is full of avatars. Weird.

It seems that the avatar will stay there until the owner claim coins.

I know the last one is frustrating, especially if you are playing on a phone instead of a tablet. All I do is minimise the friends tab myself, otherwise I can hardly see my friends farms.

Also I still get "someone has helped you with your boat order"

No no, I'm not talking about the tab stay visible. It is when you scroll through your friend list, let's say at the level 20, then switch to the follower tab. When you switch back to the friend tab, you see those at highest level and not the one in level 20 anymore. That's how it used to be.

Ohhhhhh! I get it :o sorry, yeah that's pretty annoying to be honest.

where does that appear? I've got nearly 60 likes, but I have never seen any names saying who likes my farm

You should have Hay Day running in the background. It appears as a notification on your phone/tablet in the same way of "Milk is now ready to be collected".

Since the update, has any one else found it very SLOW to scroll through their friends list?

I'm sitting right next to my router and I have to wait for all the avatar pictures to show, then listen for a chirpping sound, then I can scroll again.

It seems to be slow scrolling through peoples' shops as well. I've bought several items that I really didn't want just because I'm trying to scroll through their shops.

Just wondering if it's my end or this update.

Hey Pooh. You're not alone in this. There have been several of us posting about the shops issue including Tiggerr who started a thread about it. Many iPhone users are having a similar problem with the newspaper. I had the shop and newspaper issues myself something awful yesterday...first time I truly became aggrevated with the game. It was better this morning, then got worse again. But now I'm sailing smooth.

I'd hoped SC had fixed it but since you are still having issues, I guess not. I've rebooted several times and that seems to help a bit temporarily. I've also been forced to slow down scrolling through shops due to the lag and freeze while all the avatar and name data loads as well as browsing the paper more slowly. I don't know how much this may be contributing to smoothing things or if I'm just having a lucky streak and it's waiting in the shadows to grab my soul into darkness again. :p

As for the friend's list, I hadn't even thought about that since the other issues (newspaper/shops) were so much worse, but I have noticed the lag and jerky freeze-unfreeze while scrolling through my friends' tab all day today.
