Rushing your TH9, I'm bored

hey guys,

i've been playing this game for a long time now and i'm a pretty decent player, i follow almost every thread and everyone sais don't rush to TH 9, now i got a few few questions for you guys which alot of people on this forum with TH8
have to, bu first i want to share some CoC stats about myself so you know where i make my decisions on:
i'm a level 63 player named pipa, i have TH8 and all my defences except for mortars(maxed) are one step from maxed so i got all level 9 canons for instance, my walls are half 7 and half 6 and my troops are level 5 till balloons(I also have a BK lvl1).now my big big question is can i go to TH9 followed by several things, I almost raid TH8 and TH9 one out of ten raids is a TH7 so this wouldn't mather with the looting penalty much, my other reason is that it's getting pretty boring staying at TH8 and i want some new defences, so i want to know is it worth it?????

(just want to tell you I never spend and will never spend money on this game and only save my gems for builders)

You are no where close to upgrading your TH. I am about a month ahead of you and im still on TH8. Ill be here for another month before going to TH9. Unless you have maxed your barracks/pumps/mines/etc.

I would always wait till you have maxxed everything you can. Not only do TH 9 players have to contend with the lott penalty against TH 7, but they added a loot BONUS when a TH 7 attacks a TH 9 (125% of normal loot is available to them). Its always best to wait as long as you can. (FYI, I am in a very similar situation. I am staying TH 8 until I even max my walls)

I would like to hear an opinion from a TH9 and actually want to know what their opinion is on my situation and why they went to TH9

I'm the same. Long way away from going to TH9, not its worth the extra defences to get creamed for having an inferior base.
Most of the TH9 bases will be maxed except for the fools who rushed there.

I rushed to TH8, learnt my lesson and now maxing as I can

If its boring to you then just go to TH9. I'm sure you will ENJOY being up there.

You have played long enough to know how good you are.

I split my time on COC and on the forum so that I am doing something whilst building troops. I bore easily too.

Just upgrade and then you have a whole new game ahead of you, good luck

Nope...not bored at all...have you gotten your tesla lvl 6 yet? or your still on 5?

3 tesla lvl 6 will take 12 days each.

along with the wiz, mortar, cannon which you havent maxed yet.

once you go on the TH9 path, good luck finding/storing loot cause your defense will be too weak to protect it. Your 1 to 2 xbows are not enough and that is assuming you can save enough loot for them with the loot penalty.

why would my defences be to weak to protect my loot i mean, i will not be attacked by much higher people then i will be now, i'll still be raiding the same people and only have a slight advantage my xbow on defending, don't get the point

It's clear we do not get your point
If you are raiding and protecting your loot. In the post on "always read the signature" you commented on daddy's video saying your good at farming etc.
Well then why ask for an opinion if you "don't get the point"

It is an understood methodology to max out everything before moving up.... But it's down to choice
It's your choice
Move up or stay bored - which is what you have virtually said. Then you have answered your own question - move up.

It's pointless to postulate and then say you don't get the point.
Ask a question and accept the answers you get - you may not understand someone's response but this is a forum, you will get the advice your looking for and advice you do not want to hear.

So here goes ( remember no sarcasm intended)

Your a great player, your base holds its own - your only option is to go to TH9. credo

I got bored reading your post... thats not meant to be offensive but it seems as though you have made up your mind that you NEED to do it..

Just be conscious that things do slow down.. I at first regretted doing the upgrade however i now look back and think.. yeah but look at my Wiz Towers F***ers and my lv2 Xbows (yes both of them)

If your active you will adapt to it easily enough.
