1. Stay online and keep raiding
2. Gems
I upgraded to Level 5 Barbs first, and boy did it make the raids easier! I had the 2.25 Mil elix for the archers very quickly after that.

I have 3.25 Mil ready from TH7.
1 mil for the lab..2.25Mil for the archers.
now i just have 4 days to wait (til TH8 is ready)...and then another 4 whilst the lab is done.
whatever i lose in attacks is made up from pumps and i can raid to increase further.
Look for it.
I used to pick it up almost without trying, but just search until you find a village with 200K and take it.
Should I upgrade my pumps they r all lvl 8

Everyday, people complain in these forums about not finding enough loot while raiding. If that person does not have every pump and mine maxed to 11, then they themselves are partially to blame for the shortage of loot.
What are you using as troops to raid? Perhaps you have too many elixir heavy attack troops which is causing you to have a poor net elixir gain from your raids. When elixir hunting you want to use the cheapest troops that can get you to resources.
For me it's all about efficiency - the wb are the expensive troops i use, the barbs and gobs less so - there's a great exlixir calc here http://clancalc.com/ that can help you figure out what works for you - and if you are saving only raid bases that make you a profit.

Those giants are where all your elixir profit is going...I fit with 150 barbs...50 arch...20 wb. I try to use as few wb as possible also make sure your only doing fights that are worth it in terms of resources. Just skip bad fightsQuote:

Upgrade pumps and learn to use cheap armies. That's the key to gain elixir.
