This is EXACTLY the reason I don't like this part of the update. So, you got beat out on something you really wanted. Move on. I feel exactly the same way. Now posters are going to call players out on the forum for buying something they wanted? Like they are saying "how dare you I wanted that". Do we really need this feature? A Simple sold sign perhaps across the item so that yes we know it was Actually there but is now in another players barn or silo.

Haha, yeah, I don't see a point to looking at other people's fishing books. Personally I HATE fishing. I can't stand it in the game and only do it to fulfill orders. I tried doing a few coloured lures, but it's just not interesting to me.

True, fishing book is nothing I will 'wow' for a week, but I was quite curious to check top lvl 149 and his / her fishing book
Your avatars on shop, quite helpful compare to weeks back where 90% shops were few hours old, and you never could buy anything. Now at least know its SOLD!
Looking forward to finish new building and find out more about them.
PS. top player 149 lvl has about 130k followers, got to take month of holiday to remove all of them :eek:

I thought they meant the minor bug was how sometimes when someone would buy something their picture wouldn't show up, but other times it would. The new way seems completely different and nothing like the way bought item icons used to be.

Hi everyone

I dont think I am playing this game properly, seems like a lot of skullduggery that I am not involved in! Who cares who buys what in the shops or if it is considered raiding. I put my goods in the shop to be sold and could not care less who buys them, hope fully friends first but if not i am still happy to sell. If people go to Debenhams to buy things I am sure the assistants do not care who buys them, am I missing something?
back to the thread I do not like the sold avatars, makes it a bit confusing, I keep tapping on them because I think I am in my own shop! Waiting for nets, lobster pot and soup kitchen to open now , Happy Hay Days! 🐻🌞🇪🇸

LOL I keep doing the same thing! I'm used to them being in my shop. It's slowing me down. But really I don't like them because they can be used to name and shame, which SC is actually staunchly against. I wonder if they anticipated this type of a backfire. I can understand letting the seller know who is buying, which is especially important during trading. Then the trade can be shut down, if the wrong person is buying. But does everyone really need to know what everyone else is buying, when so many people seem prone to being upset that so-and-so got there and bought it first?

Hi there I'm so pleased you brought this up. I play daily and try to help too. I've not posted on here before but am really concerned about this. This new feature of showing who bought items is giving me serious headaches too. Please admin - can you put an opt out button in the game for those of us who are suffering headaches because its spoiling the fun. Thanks for listening :)

What's the point in achieving goals without bragging rights? Seeing others fishing diary no different than being able to see others achievements. If I had ALL the fish, of every weight, I would be proud of it and want others to see. Just my opinion.
On the subject of seeing who has purchased in shops, it doesn't bother me either way. I don't hate it or love it, and I don't really care who purchased what, but it doesn't effect my game so I don't mind.
