Strategy to get to master league?

I'm th 9 with all lvl 8 walls. I currently have 2550 trophies and I'm trying to get to 2600 trophies in master league to get 1000 gems. It's been 2 days already and I'm still at 2550 trophies. I keep stalling my trophies there. My max is 2590 trophies. I've been using gowipe these days and I can't pass 2590. Im only fighting th 10s right now and it's really hard cuz every1 is 2 starring me. Any new strategy I can use? I hate inferno towers so much right now cuz I don't have freezing spells.

My gowipe army is

2 golems lvl 1
3 pekka lvl 3
18 wizards lvl 5
6 wallbreaker lvl 5
1 archer lvl 6

Also, if any 1 knows a good th 9 design that could keep up with other th 10s , it would be really nice if i could copy it ^^.

Ps : I hate balloons and my hog rider are too weak. Bam doesn't work and mass dragon got nerfed so badly in my opinion.

I used ballons and minions to get to 2600, both maxed. I also tried to stay online a lot at the very end so I don't get revenged so easily

You never win on defense. Never. Ever.

It's always offense over defense in this game.

In defense up ere all you can hope for is a 1 star loss. You aren't going to one many unless a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ who doesn't know what he's doing attacks you .

Than dyu know any th 9 design that can only give 1 star? Cuz I keep gettin 2 starred.

sorry dude it's almost impossible to survive in defense at 2500+. We don't have inferno towers, TH 10 army will take us easily. My only suggestion is win more than you lose.

me too.. i also stuck at 2500+, cant go beyong 2600.
I always get massacre by mass hog rider troops. Anyway to defend this? 40+ hog wriders can wipe your entire base defence :mad:

Yeah I feel you too. My base is almost max out on defenses TH9 and I was hunting cup couple of weeks ago. I went straight to 2580 or something with giant healer wiz combo and last bits to 2600 by witching :o. Since the witch get nerfed, ehh not much to say about it.

On the defense side, it's correct whatever yr layout is, TH10 with 240 troops space with 1 or 2 stars you.
On the offense side, your army is fine imo. Just be patient, stay online, go for a match as long as spells and heroes is both healthy, pick component wisely.

Goldstarr is very, VERY hard to master. Try ballinions, there are tons of guides out there of them getting to masters

I used 30 balloons 30 minions and cc with balloons too for spells 3 rage and 1 lightning. My base also defends very well for a rushed th9

Hey mate,
Don't give up. I'm a th 8 and just hit masters today. It only took me just under 2 weeks and the key is patience. Use a little extra cash to find an easier base. I did my best to try find a dead base or a premmy th 9 or 10. You won't find them that often but its worth the wait to try and find them. And also a good idea is to leave your townhall on the outside. You will get lower levels who just one star you. I got a th 6 the other who picked off my th and gave me a nice 12 hr shield. (Yeah, ♥♥♥ th6?!!)

I'm using 20 lvl 4 hogs, 8 lvl 5 wizards, 8 wb, 20 barbs and 32 archers with 3 heal spells. I boost my spell factory and barb king quite often. It's a really good idea to change your screen locking to 5 mins because thats when clash kicks you for inactivity. Another finally tip is to try get more trophies before you log of. It usually 3 steps forward, 2 steps back.

Maybe upgrade your golems if you can. Best of luck :)

6 maxed giants are stronger than 1 lvl1 golem. They would work better as a shield for your wizzies.

Choose carefully which base to attack. A non centralized TH shopuld guarantee you a win with 16 giants, 2 rage 10/12 wbrs and the rest arachers.

Keep looking for the TH9's. I made master and used a combination of armies. But near the stop it was 32 level 5 hogs and 4 heal spells. Do not attack without your heroes and full spells. Gem those for 2 hours. to get in a few raids.

I make it to masters using barch or balloonions. But whatever strategy you need to have a positive outcome from every "session". So if you break a shield you need to stay online and raid until you get like, lets say 25 trophies. When you go on def you might loose 16 tropies ===> +9 this session.

Do that for a couple of sessions/days and you're there. The only thing you need is discipline and patience. But don't break a shield, raid 2 raids and log of.

I agree completely. Also look out for revenges. They can make a few days work disappear in one raid. I was at 2586 and my phone lost connection and I got revenges for 49 trophies. It hurts. Bad.

This is so true! I made couple set back mistakes yesterday...
1) raided at lunch break (shield was running out anyhow) logged off and got 2-star-Hogged; lost loots too :'(
2) Raided a TH9 w/o Heros and lost 47% poor attack on top of a better than advertised layout. Dang it!
Don't skimp on the spells above 2400, if you got them use them..(such a hard lesson) I was trying to only use one spell per raid up to that point...

Also note in mistake one, I thought I could put my TH in the layout 2nd layer and stave off an assault, and it opened the door for that Hog raid. Im hoping to avoid making an anti hog base, but the closer I get to 25-2600 the more Hogs and ONLY TH10s (stacked!) I see.. so it may be a necessity soon. May also need to boost SF and start using 2 spells at this point as well. in the low 2400s now after my crappy session yesterday.

so two notes.. Keep TH out. the low level snipers are your friend!
Raid in sessions to stay above 'Par' and end the session ahead of last loss. (and revenge log can possibly be your friend)

My old clanmate made it at TH7, attacking with lv2 hogs (didn't now exact army combo) at abandoned weak TH10 bases up there.
Another of my old clanmate made it at TH5 by only sniping (full archers raid)
I've seen people BALLOONION/MINIBALL to there.
Cheapest would be Barbarian/Archer, but you gotta need some patience and skills finding the correct base to attack.

Loonion is your best option.

This is by far the most reliable, and most well rounded compo I have used. 24/50 or 26/45 is my preferred mix. with a Dragon, 6 B'loons, or Minions in the CC

you can attack the following types with confidence;

ANY TH7(rare) with less than full army. no spells required.

2-star nearly all the TH8 you see (w/o spells or heros most times)

and at least 1-star most TH9s and premie TH10s (though 1-2 spells are typically required and maybe Hero(s) too,)
Be prepared to bring ALL spells and Hero(s) when you start seeing the maxing TH10s in Crystal 1 up to M3.

While Barch is fast to build, I find you spend a lot of time looking for a 'suitable' base to raid and then need a lot of spells and that wastes more time than it would take to go B'linion (unless boosting SF, which seems a necessity <-Costs Gems)) IME...

Hogs while more reliable than Barch.. eat up too much DE to be as reliable as B'linion IME, so they are a bit hard to maintain since you need to target bases loaded with Dark too, in order to maintain that 1500-2K +/- it takes to keep them going... and again need to waste time searching for the more suitable bases like you need with Barch.

For you I think the best strategy is to win defenses. Leave elixer or gold storages outside and hope a few people take everything and leave. At that level there is certainly someone that could use 200-400k more elixer to push higher. Give it to them and you can be up 60 cups in one night.

The best chance for you to when a defense is an anti-hog base, the black mamba base worked great for me and i was winning defenses up until 2700

i reached masters when i was th9.in my first push i reached till 2483... couldnt make the last 17 trophies.however i triwd again and reached 2370-2480, couldnt make it by getting 1 star raid. i kept pressing search until i find exposed th and get easy 4-9 trophies. made it to masters by sniping th for the last 20-30 trophies. got it in 2 hrs. took about 600k golds for the last 20-30 trophy searches. u can try yourself just be a little patient.btw i was using balloonions 20/60 ratio.

Put your TH outside. You get some 2 star losses, but a lot of Premmies will attack your TH for just 1 star. Just made it to masters today using this tactic (and balloonion for offense).

I used Barch (Barbarians+Archers) and it was really easy... Just look for bases with 25+ buildings outside and they offer an easy 50%. It is a lot slower than using hogs or Balloons+Minions since you usually will only get a 1 star with Barch, but it works well if you are low in elixir since the loot bonus can pay for the army itself. Also, I keep 4 lightning spells in case I get stuck at the last few percent, then I can drop a few spells on damaged buildings, hero plates, or builder huts. Goodluck!
