Central Clan Castle Repository for Donations

There should be a Central Clan Castle for donations.

The idea is we can donate as many troops as we wish into Central Clan Castle (Similar to the Guild vault in WoW).

The Central Clan Castle can set to accept certain level/types of troops (Central Clan Castle Rules).

Example Rules:
- Minimum Unit Stats: Level 2+ Dragons and Level 3+ Wizards only. (So people can't donate inferior units)
- Ratios: You must donate 1 unit to take 2 units. (2:1 -- ratio eliminates hopping)

The idea is to make this game more playable, we don't have to wait all day to donate or don't have to wait all day to get donations.

This makes clans of ALL SIZES can interact seamlessly, don't need 50 members to get consistent donations.. clans with 2 members will work! To eliminate 1 person clan, there can be a set minimum of 2 members to have Central Clan Castle.

What about clan hoppers? One could randomly join clans and draw out all of your good troops.

That is my concern with the idea.

Like I said in the original post, there are clan rules: You have to donate 1 troop to take 2 troops.

I think it is a great idea! I was thinking about this last week as well! It's unfortunate that many people, who are the "play in short bursts of time throughout the day because I'm busy" type, often look like they aren't generous with donating because nobody requests when they are on, but they do. Some people use this as an excuse. This idea would allow people who want to donate to always do so and people who don't will have no excuse.

As far as clan hoppers go, you could solve that problem a couple ways that I can think of:

-Set a timer when someone joins a clan...gain access after a leader-set amount of time
-Leader (and elders?) could set access permission manually for each person
-Donation based...the more you put in, the more you can take out. Could also be based on troop levels that you donate...don't allow people to take out what they are not capable of producing? (Or at least an option for the leader to turn this on?)

Anyway, just my two cents! Again, good idea!

Thanks UAV... the ratio idea would solve clan hopper problem. In order for them to take anything, they have to put in half of that.

For example, if they want to take 20 units out, they have to put in at least 10.

So this is a ratio setting, just set 2:1 and they can take 20 units for every 10 units they put in.

Clans have the option to set 1:1 ratio as well.

Simple.

I see what you are saying.

But even if you set such rules, they would dump 3 lv 3 wizards, and potentially take out a lv 4 dragon in it's place. Hoppers could always make you lose more then you gain. Which sucks, but I can totally see it happening if it was introduced under that condition.

That's why I said there's a minimum setting, for example, level 2+ dragons or level 4+ wizards only.. it's not that bad of a tradeoff if the clan channel set 1:1 ratio.. You can dump all the level 4+ wizards you want and take all the level 2+ dragons you want.

Another way to eliminate hoppers is to have this stat in their profile: Clans joined last 4 days: 1.

Leaders & elders can put a cap on each unit, say unlimited dragons, 500 giants, 500 wizards.

This idea will save time for players of all types!

This is the idea I am looking for. As a leader, I wish to stimulate the donation in this way.
