Why do you even care?

Maybe later.
But if a thread is going to boil into passive aggressive jabbing this thread shouldn't had bee posted and should had been done privately within a FG. I don't care there's a majority. This is IRF right, quality? Not quantity?
Gonna go over rules.
Thread Rules
0. Idk about this, it'd be good for organization, but not entirely necessary
1. Yes, good rule. Only one person should say "Wrong subforum" and they should say other things along with it
2. Try to use Google Translate and see if it's a good idea. If it's a ruled out idea report it, if it's not ruled out or frequently requested post the translation and tell OP forum is English only
3. Too extreme. People don't know that we want longer threads. If it's a ruled out idea yes, but if it isn't, it could be a good idea to develop and discuss.
4. Yep. Possibly merge similar ruled out ideas into one thread and include a post by a mod or renowned forumer about why it's ruled out
5. Sometimes people don't know it's a copied idea. If the original idea is on front page then report, if it's a deliberate attempt to copy report, if it isn't and the original idea isn't on front page, don't report
6. Necro'ing is a gray area, even between mods. If it's a good post to bring it up then keep it, but if it's something not adding to the discussion then report it
7. This rule won't be necessary if 6 is changed to my thoughts. Just look at the post that brought it up and decide if it contributes or not
8. Bumping straight up isn't allowed in forums. "Bump 10chars" or "Anyone else" or "what do you guys think" or any bump message should be reported on first bump.
9. Yes. Make sure to report the offending post, not the thread itself
10. Mod decisions on infractions and bans
Post Rules
1. Yes, I don't see a terrible problem with it. If they're spam posting then mods will take care of it. Only problem I can think of would be them posting their idea in the wrong subforum and how would mods deal with it of that was their only post?
Remaining rules are good.
To sum, you think well, but it's the mods' jobs, not the forumers' to manage and clean the forums. We can do our part, but ultimately, it's the mod's decisions. If a mod could read and respond to this it'd be great. Sticky potential, this thread has.
If a majority wants those rules then go ahead. Don't enforce this on people who wouldn't bother to read it...
To clarify - unspoken words in a thing. Instead of doing this, why try to change others if you apparently have a majority already? Why not use that majority to organize a system of bumping threads with constructive, new additions. Because otherwise it's like trying to make people in general start speaking unicorn rainbows, you can't.
Nor sure what you mean. But somebody mentioned the mods not disagreeing - exceot they haven't commented on this thread. But to be honest I would rather the mods give us a general decision of what we should do on our part instead of us running around trying to figure this out with no direction.
Adding on again with my first comment. I don't care you have a majority of 70 users because half of them were probably inexperienceda or they're new forumers. It's easy to ride the hype wave - except just looking at this thread maybe there's reason no one dares to disagree. Human mentality, I'm talking about group mentality. I'm talking about the passive aggressive talking, the inability to be civil and ignore whatever past histories you have with someone and resorting to jabbing people. Now, why wouldn't people say no, I don't agree? Forcing your ideals on the "minority"... no. This is completely off the charts.
