Mastermind's In-Game Builder Idea (with LOADS of pictures!)

First of all, bravo for all of your thoughtfulness and effort put into this idea! (I wish everyone could be like you and actually spend time and work into their posts ;))

I think that there will be too many buttons, etc. Imagine tapping on a layout and getting a pop-up with 5 or 6 options (use, rename, edit / view, share, delete, copy / move, etc.). Isn't that too much of a mouthful, expecially for iPhone / iTouch users?

My mini-idea:

1. USE: just tap the layout. It will ask "Are you sure?" (Yes / No)
2. Rename: tap the name (type text, press OK / cancel)
3. Edit / view: Go to editor, tap a button that edits existing layout; OR edit button in layouts screen: tap it and tap layout
4. Share: Either button in clan chat or layouts (and then select layout, with custom message like requests / replays)
5. Delete: Trash can (probably red) icon
6. Copy / move: Just tap, hold, and drag; continuously hold for 5 secs and a pop-up appears, staing "Which slot do you want this layout to be copied to?"

Another suggestion: Change orange "minus" button into a "eye" button (makes more sense; eye = see = observation mode).

ps: that stats board which you shown at end of your idea is an awesome goodlooking list to have in the profile, I would love to be able to proof my gold record etc without pictures or replays :D

Man Kudos to you. You put in a huge amount of effort into the thread, and it had much support, and you are getting another person's support right now. Keep it up! Not many people on the forums bothers to do these great things. Not me LOL

Really well thought out and thorough post! But I have two questions, say I upgraded something (not my TH) like an archer tower or some walls, how would that effect a saved layout? And I think it would be an awesome feature if when you swapped a layout, your current base design saved where the layout you swapped to was.

Thanks bobby for the suggestions and great ideas! I don't think it would be too many options (tap a players name in the Clan Page to see 5 options appear) but I do think your ideas would be good!

I wouldn't be opposed to an eye icon either, as long as it does the same function :) Eye represents "seeing" the spawn points and defense coverage, and the Minus icon represents minimizing the UI, so both could work!

Wow... You were so dedicated to this thread! A great read. Loved it. Its such a hassle to change my base... Of course, some people will not agree with this. I, personally think it is an amazing idea, and about 90% of the community will agree. You have some great ideas, I love reading your posts :)
