Barrack Training Boost
I believe that the interests of farmers and Supercell are easy to breakdown, and that they can be made more compatible with a simple modification to the game.
Farmers want to attack more often, collecting more resources in less time. So training time is of the essence.
Supercell wants users to buy gems and to spend more time playing the game.
Although we already have the option to pay 25 gems at a barrack to get a 45 min - 4x boost, some of us feel that it is not worth paying.
However, a second alternative might prove more viable:
Each time you win an attack, you should get the option to pay 1 gem in order to receive a 10% boost in training time. The boosts could stack up to 400% (same as the direct barrack boost), meaning that a user would spend 40 gems in order to get to that boost speed.
Here is the trick - if your base is attacked and you lose, you lose your boost and have to start all over. (You do not lose the boost if you attack and do not win, only if your based is defeated).
In essence, the modifications encourages people to spend a few gems quite often, to stay logged on more often (so that you are not attacked and defeated), and furthermore, presents an interesting dilemma for farmers that place their Town Hall outside (if TH is destroyed, you lose, and you lose your boost).
Obviously I would love the idea even more if you could pay a fix amount of Elixir at the end of battle to receive the boost, instead of paying gems. In this case, it would even out nicely because you pay Gold to initiate an attack, and Elixir to boost at the end of the attack. The Elixir amount would be based on TH level.
For example TH7 - 25,000 Elixir, TH8 - 30,000 Elixir - TH9 - 35,000 Elixir, TH10 - 50,000.
What do you think?

Actually I think that supercell dont see this idea as a bigger moneybringer because one gem/won fight is like nothing and currently barely do 40battles each day as top and still got capped storages with 4builders at th8 and I always have both all builders and laboratory always working and then I also use expensive troops, waste my gold on walls before upgrade and still I get both elixir and gold storages capped (6million) everytime before I start a new task. So for my situation I see no point in this and also I go offline between each fight and that means I get attacked like 1/3 as many times as I attack so lets say my average day is 25attacks and 8defenses. The point is that I would boost my barracks with like 20-100% maximum anyway before I get attacked so I see this not necessary sorry.
The thing is that your loots doesnt count on how fast you train your troops, I guess you anyway use like full dragon troop and similar expensive armys which I rarely use.
But anyway my usual armies takes about 20-30mins and my better army takes about 1hour and my search time for base to farm on is like 1-10mins so I realised that I would never do more then 25 attacks a day anyway and still I get caped storages everyday. Thereby I think the solution is that anyone who got problems with farming just keep training and trying different tactics until they can earn like me 200k+ over training cost each attack. You get what I mean? I have been attacked by 10 dragons quite often, those people get 150k-250k loot from my base depending on townhall and the thing is that their training cost for 10 dragons is at average 300k elixir, adding on the gold cost for their usual spells its at 300k elixir and 150k gold which means troophies won but resources lost.
There you go, please update with your regular army mix and average loot and I might get interested.

I agree with most of what you said. However:
You say that you have your gold storages full (6mil), and that you dont need the extra loot. But consider for example that at TH9, you need 1,000mil gold to upgrade your 250 walls to level 10.
It is not quite that easy to get that amount of gold. So farming quicker would be useful. If nobody collecting resources were as easy as you say, we wouldn't have so many farmers/farmer clans/farmer dedicated strategy guides/etc.
Regarding my army, it takes 23 minutes to train, and I get on average about 150K gold. Don't care about elixir cause I am already maxed out.
I want to clarify that the boost is not reset at the end of the day. It is reset when you are attacked and lose.
And while this might not be a cash cow like the Barb King, I do believe that they could raise the gem usage quite a bit with those 2-3 gems that any given player might spend. Or 30-40 for some of us that like to attack often.
Imagine training your "good army" that currently takes 1 hour in 15 minutes, and applying those resources to walls (mostly). Suddenly it seems more attainable to obtain the 1,000mil gold for TH9 walls, and 1,000mil god for TH10 walls.
But again, I do see some of your points.

The boost would also affect dark barracks and spell factory, making it much more powerful (and attractive for people to spend gems on.)
Another option to consider is for the boost to even affect builders and research time. Think of winning battles (and paying the gem) as a morale booster for your base. People train faster, work harder, research more effectively, etc.
