That is exciting! I have four spots left to go still, but I'm not really in a rush. They will come when they come. I'm looking forward to my animal sanctuary though!

Permits are useless for me because I can't get mallets for mounths. Me and all my Hood stuck with mallets. I was wheating before two weaks. I upgraded my barn TWICE and I need more than 100 of ich bem's and silo's one time. I don't count mining tools or axes which I got when wheating or wake up my pets. But where are all that mallets which was common items before this stupid update? I got only 30 mallets all that time!!
Remember expansion permits?!
Those highly desired items before puzzle pieces?XDXDXDXD
I'm still hoping to expand my remaining 4 spots by end of 2017.
I can dream.
But like Raelet, no rush.
Ohm.:smirk:
Need 25 more to open last 3 spots. Still getting on average 2 a week, so by the end of Summer is possible.
What I don't understand, is why so many complain about it being so hard?
It's not like new players come on here and complain it will take forever to get the Hot Dog Stand for example, it will take likely over a year.
That's how the game works, and why many of us love it. Having something to work towards is a good thing.
They aren't going to lock out after a certain amount of time either, just be patient and enjoy the ride. Like with many things in life, if you focus too much on the outcome instead of the process you'll just end up frustrated.
I don't think it was designed to be a quickie accomplishment. They have even gone above and beyond making the challenge innovative and refreshing.
i don't need the land, but whenever I have enough LEMs to open something, I open just to get rid of them. I have 4 regular areas to open and 5 permit areas to open. Only 6 permits though.
that is pretty quick in my book and I am not even buying or looking for LEMs
The frustration is more about the uncertainty of how to acquire these precious resources. Everything else in the game has more definition. Players know the levels at which they can purchase the various machines or animals by looking at their sidebars. They can even determine cost by looking at web sites about the game. Players can save up to purchase things. There is certainty & consistency there. I know that I can obtain enough barn, silo, land, & town expansion items if I wheat enough & consistently serve town customers. There's even an option to use diamonds to acquire those items, if I choose to do that. Again, consistency.
The permits & puzzle pieces come in a very random way though. There's nothing a player can do to acquire them with any sort of consistency. Clearly, completing more boat orders doesn't help. The only other option seems to be a random derby prize or finding a lucky tool or treasure box. I have yet to see puzzle pieces on the wheel of fortune. When 36 pieces of a puzzle are required to participate in a part of the game and there seems to be no way to collect them with any sort of assurance, it's very frustrating. I predict most players won't have their animals by December, and that is ridiculous to me.
There is actually: if you are not lucky enough to get 2 permits per week in your derby horseshoes or land on a permit on the Wheel of Fortune, you can spend a few diamonds on reshuffles of derby prizes and extra spins in the wheel.
i just spent one extra diamond on the WoF, and got a permit! Last week, I had 2 permits in my derby prizes, but the week before I spent 5 diamonds on a reshuffle to get the 2nd permit, and I did.
This is only the 3rd time I have seen a permit on the WoF, by the way. The permits do not appear there with the same degree of regularity as they do in the derby horseshoe prize columns.
I have had two permits this week from red mystery boxes and regularly get the one or two a week when I can participate in the derby. I agree with you Perky they show up on rare occasions on the WoF. Like Wussy I am not in a hurry to open the land and do so as I acquire the LEM.
Ahh gotcha, consistancy; that I can understand. Especially over puzzle pieces at the moment we have no idea whatsoever how often Boats will cough up.
Although, is that much different to the voucher system? We only ever get vouchers at random, often more Blue & Green ones that could be used as toilet paper after a certain point - we have way too many of them!
While that is true, that just gives some credit to the 'money grab' claims a few have thrown around since Permits were introduced.
I personally don't paint SuperCell with the money grab brush, as I have seen how greedy some other companies are at making money; where obviously I am unable to name drop with our forum rules.
Maybe that's just it, players are less in control now and more at the mercy of lady luck. I know I am super frustrated with another game I have been playing for about 6 months because lady luck plays such a heavy role. I have heavily cut back my game time on it as a result, it just drives me nuts - you keep getting the 'it's rigged!' feeling.
SuperCell should come out and disclose more facts on finding these precious items, such as drop rates to put more farmers at ease.
Personally I'll happily chip away at my other goals and collect these as I go, but I totally understand others wanting greater disclosure and control over their farms.
Permits seem to come in waves for me. I got four over the weekend, then nothing since (I need just one more for that next spot!) I've gone a couple weeks at one point with no permits. And I do not spend diamonds on boxes or refreshing my horseshoes. I will blow one single diamond on the Wheel, but that hasn't worked yet. I usually get a silly carrot.
Today I got my first permit out if a box!! All I have gotten so far were from derby. I am not in a hurry to collect the stuff.
Whenever I see a level 30-40 farm I wonder how they cope, the amount of land to unlock is massive!! It is like looking at a small house lost in the wilderness!!
i was wondering too, where are they, now all i see or get are puzzles, no more permits...
after invest 5 diamonds I got one..
the second in five weeks!
I only need 12 more to finish the pieces of land that require them. I got a majority of them from the derby I would say. A few here and there from red boxes.
Still need 25. Last week I got 3 pp in free red boxes, but no permits. Only one was from derby
