Wood shop barracks
This counts as a troops idea but this idea is so big I had to put it here.
I suggest that there be a new kind of barracks called "the wood shop". What it does at level one is is create a giant wooden ram (level one) wielded by 6 barbarians. It's can destroy any wall by five( hitting the middle then two block at both sides) it takes three rams with 5 second breaks in between, after the wall is broken, the ram will break and the barbarians will disperse attacking the closest thing to them. More details will be at the end.
at level 2, you can make a wooden catapult (lv 1) that shoots a medium (level1) bolder as far as the archer queen and has splash damage, but must be close to the wall.its operated by 3 barbarians( historically correct as a bonus) it takes 10 seconds to reload and it will fire again. After being destroyed, the barbarians will die or survive and continue to fight.
And my final idea (for now) is the raft. Made at level 3 wood shop barracks, Possibly the first item to use the water near your village you create a small raft (size increases over upgrades) you can send a building (more specifications about what you can send out in the end) out to sea to protect as many thing that you can fit on it. You choose what you want to send on it and it goes out to sea tied by a rope. It stays out there for 12 hours max then returns and puts the building back were they were unless you pull the rope which is an option to take it back to land and put them back. It's mostly for protecting recourses but there's a catch, there is a 75% chance that the recourses fell out of their containers which can range to 5% recourses to 25% recourses.

The Ram
Damage: no specific damage, destroys wall in three hits over 15 seconds
health:50 hp lvl 1, 100 hp lv 2, 150 hp lv 3.
takes 3 hits to destroy any wall, after wall is destroyed barbarians attack the closest thing.
level differences: level 1, wooden log help by six level 1 barbarians. Level 2 steel ram with a little more re-enforcements held by 6 level 3 barbarians . Level 3 golden ram with the front being a giants rams ( as in animal) head made with gold aswel being wielded by level 5 barbarians.
The Catapult
favorite target: Buildings ( town hall, laboratory builders huts ect)
Damage: 20 damage with splash damage in a small area. Level 2 50 damage large stone with bigger splash damage.level 3 70 damage launches bomb with bigger splash damage area.
level differences: level one, wooden catapult. Level 2
the Raft
send out a building or two (preferably recourses) to the sea and protect them from raiders.
cannot send out town hall, decorations, or recourses collectors. Comes back to shore and replaces building back were they were before being put on.
level differences: level 1: 4x4 spacing level 2: 8x8 spacing level 3: 11x11 spacing

Umm, well, i think you should explain to people what the wood shop barracks are, what they are there for, and what resource would be used if you want anyone to fully understand these wood shop barracks, trey to expand your idea
