Customize troop builds: to order/perm. production/saved queues How would this work!?
Unit Production changes
I had few ideas so far:
-A Number Pad-
Basically when you hit a unit a number pad appears allowing you to just input the number of the specific unit you want. I would rather hit Archer, 3, 0, enter, than playing the hold down the button, subtract 1 add 2 etc. etc. just to get an even 30. Maybe even make it a circle that you run your finger around to set at the number of units you want (kind of like the old iPods).
-And/or-
-Build System Overhaul-
This is more of a complete interface overhaul in that you are presented with a screen that shows your total food and you’re allowed to preset a limit of each unit until you reach your food limit. Barracks optimize unit build order automatically distributing the troops evenly across barracks. It only builds the troops used as well so if you don't use your whole army it won't start filling in at the front of the line.
My 2 cents
The number pad I feel doesn’t alter the nature the game too much. The build system would however and that could upset more conservative players. I of course don’t mind either way I’m gonna keep playing cause <3 clans but it does get tedious queuing up my army before I raid, then let it build the pre queue it again…
Some other ideas:
Gem Confirmation when purchasing Spells & Troops toggle.
-Several Times I have accidently clicked the gem in the Spell Factory/Barracks only to have the Gem’s I was hording spent without asking for confirmation. I’m not sure if people who gem at the top would be annoyed having to confirm their gems when army spamming, which is why It could be made a toggle in the options setting. This happened after the new Freeze Spell was added and I was trying to check its info and accidently hit the gems…I don’t have fat fingers…I swear! :D
Builders Tab
-The Builders tab at the top of the screen is pretty much useless showing those builder huts (I’m at 4/5). But that’s in the shop menu anyways. Instead this should be changed to something that shows all the current buildings being upgraded and of course the time remaining on them. Maybe even the current research being upgraded too! So instead of showing me I can build one more builder hut (that I'm never going to get anyways). It shows all the buildings currently being upgraded (preferably arrayed from least amount of time remaining to most).
