Fixing hog rider issue without a true nerf

They should nurf their dps and hp, they should add a lv 6 that cost 80k de to research (but we all know supercell will make it more) and to completly fix them, they should increase the price of them by a lot

They absolutely need a nerf of some sort. Yes they can be somewhat countered by bases specifically designed against them but the fact we have to make bases specifically designed against them shows a real problem.

A speed nerf makes the most sense to me.

The issue prior to the patch was that hogs were useless vs. TH10 bases with inferno towers and over powered to TH8 and TH9 bases.

So it was a massive power spike within a narrow range that saw the Hog go from overwhelming to massively underwhelming.

The major issue now with the giant bomb boost is now that hogs are USELESS in max TH8 and TH9 early bases because those bases already HAD 4 giant bombs , at no point are they now worthwhile. "Oh you ran into a bomb, too bad your hog strategy didn't allow for that random but totally predictable chance"(place bombs near each other, near defensive buildings for the win)

So now COC has yet another useless unit no one will use.

I think they could of handled the Hog much better than they did, I fact I will state without doubt that Supercell were stupid with this last patch. They could of limited the impact of hogs at TH8-TH9 without removing their usefulness completely.

Here was one idea, make Hog lv5 require lab level 8. *shock horror*

Great now it is GoWiWi or GoPeWi or nothing, clap clap well done supercell.

-Fix; Reduce the amount of giant bombs ASAP. or remove the boost and require Lv8 Lab for Hog lv5, lv7 lab for lv4 hogs

Hogs are fine, you just need to know how to use them now so leave the need alone. Just cause you don't know how to use them now is no reason for them to be unnerfed. I know pleanty of th lvl 9's that are still using the, yes it might not be an all hog raid now but it finnaly has a strategy to using them so the giant bomb doesn't cream them.
