Fixing hog rider issue without a true nerf
Hog Riders are being used more and more after the update. It's true they're not overpowered in the sense that if no spells are used they can still win but I have seen videos of a Townhall 9 holding their finger down in one place to deploy all 40+ and subsequently 100%ing a maxed out Townhall 10. I think that updating the Hog Riders was the right thing to do but in the hands of even a remotely skilled player Hog Riders are too powerful, too soon.
The "fix" that came to mind was to slightly nerf the Hog Riders BUT to add a new, level 6, upgrade for Townhall 10.
The new stats would be something like:
Level 1:
DPS: 50(down from 60)
Health: 275(down from 300)
Training Cost:30
Level 2:
DPS: 60(down from 70)
Health: 325(down from 345)
Training Cost: 35
Level 3:
DPS: 72(Down from 80)
Health: 370(down from 400)
Training Cost: 40
Level 4:
DPS: 85(Down from 92)
Health: 420(Down from 460)
Training Cost: 45
Level 5:
DPS: 96(Down from 105)
Health: 480(Down from 525)
Training Cost: 50
Level 6(new):
DPS: 112
Health: 550
Training Cost: 60
Research Cost: 60,000
This will keep people using Hog Riders(and buying gems) but will reduce the chance a townhall 9 has to 100% a townhall 10.
Those numbers are just general ideas.
