If a friend disconnects from FB you won't see them in your friends bar. There was an issue not too long ago where the one active FBer on my game couldn't see me and I couldn't see her for a while (that's been fixed). I had another friend who played Hay Day for a while and connected through FB. She deleted the game (or just disconnected I don't know which)- she disappeared completely.

No idea if change in number is to do with fb people but i would guess yes- especially if they either "disconnect from FB" or delete the game outright severing all contact.

FB disconnect doesn't explain it for those of us experiencing the fluctuations who aren't connected to FB.

Server issues "could" be behind all of it, but that still doesn't explain why sometimes the numbers go UP (instead of the proper down) when "adding" people and it never gets adjusted.

For those of us who've gotten stuck with this particular part of the issue, we've had to add more people than asked for because it doesn't recognize the additions AS additions. Either not recognizing some of them at all or mistaking some additions for deletions. i.e. being required to add 12 people in order to fulfill a requirement of 8.

And the fluctuation just happened again. My requirement for #18 has been 236 (down from 300) for days now, including just a few minutes ago when I glanced at it while collecting coins from my bins. Just now, I accepted a request and, since I'm keeping an eye on it, checked my requirement. Well, it went UP 1 to 237 rather than down to 235 as it should have. Sigh.................

I wonder if it is counting UP toward the # needed to complete and open the slot? It would be a long wait to test that theory out lol. I need to check mine as I Just accepted two new requests...

well there goes my theory- as posted previously I needed 41 more friends. It says 39 more now.

I wonder why it's doing that to you Cricks... oddest behavior I've seen.

I have 349 gc friends.
I need 177 new friends for my next slot.
i have 18 slots right now and i havent gotten a new one in a long time. Im not sure its possible to add that many more, i dont know if theres a limit. When i was under 200 friends i had tried to stop adding friends, i tried to go to everyones farm everyday but then realized that was impossible. So i just keep adding people that request me or for trades. The point is, i dont think im ever going to get another slot with friends. If anyone knows a way to change this let me know.

Are you sure your number of friends stayed the same? Maybe someone deleted their game center account.

I dont know what mine does. I dont watch it, i know its high and its been like that for many months so i gave up looking at it a long time ago. GL

Yes, GC number is the same as it's been for days plus the new one. Since that post I've added two more that worked correctly so I'm down to 234.

I'm not the only one this has happened to. Some have posted earlier in this thread and I've PM'd a couple of the others, asking them to post updates so we can compare notes and gather more data for SC, but they've not yet opened the PMs.

Well, it had stabilized for a while at least. Running in place is only fun if I lose weight while I'm at it. :p
