At least you wont have a problem getting into war, Ill have to sneak my rushed bases past major and probably a few others, Theres an outcry before every cwsf event and i usually have to send a few of my poor bases packing, the more people we have though the less scrutiny Ill be under. I have dropped bt in there earlier today (newish 9.11) and will bring fnatic (th12) over in about 3 hours as I'm feeding the current war (storms home clan) with siege machines! May have to bring it over for the spin then dive back out for the last hour of our current war.
Ideally I'm aiming just for the 2 accounts as I'm traveling all day sunday so I will have to do all my attacks in the first 5 hours of war (unless we get a really long search time) but I have a couple of 70K TH9s and an 89K TH10 on standby if necessary.

My personal highlight from the war was my last minute attack @ 3am, tried the 8/8 edraglo attack for the very first time! I didn't even do an FC as the enemy base looked ripe for picking off some ADs with my heroes/siege machine.
Even if it did cost me the most gems I have ever spent for an army. Only got 1 barrack that can brew them, even after 45mins of barrack boost I still had to gem the last hour :facepalm:

Yes I agree Neobone, whether a TH8 or TH12 there is so much to learn from so many great attackers.
Every time we do one I learn something new, whether a new attack, siege machine deployment tactics, spell usage, master funneling or whatever else comes up it defo worth a visit.
Off the top of my head I can remember so many different attack styles used such as:
BoWitch
GoBoWitch
HGHB
QW hogs
10/10/15 (3 row attack or whatever its called)
8/8 Edraglo
QW LaLo
Sui Lalo
Many variants of Miners
In fact the only thing I didn't see was goblin knife :)

Looks like that attack is super powerful on the right base design, it only took me 5 mins of planning which was a bonus. Very strange attack as you have loads of time during attack to concentrate on the spells, you can enjoy a cup of tea during the attack!

Congrats on the win and good war by your squad. We knew it was gonna be a tough war as it was tilted slightly against us defensively in the match. Too many 97-99% 2 stars by us sealed our fate. Hard to overcome that many misses against a quality opponent. Good luck in your future wars.

Yes we have noticed the impact of the max giga. Only having 1 max giga on our side certainly was a big hurdle to overcome. My max giga was only hours away from finishing before the war started and I was literally a minute late getting logged in to gem the finish. :unsure:
I have been on the rest of my clan mates to get it maxed out. We were slow initially to upgrade with concerns about the war weight it carried but have realized we get matched up against many more maxed gigas anyway.
And I definitely agree about our 1's triple with hogs on your 1. I think that was the highlight of the war. Cool to see some other attacks working in war besides spam edrags and bowitch.
I've been rocking the HGHB attack and it's pretty powerful at TH11/12 but it does require a lot of skill and a deep push with the kill squad to make work.
Unfortunately the dominant BoWitch is too hard to pass by as even a fail will give you a nice % 2 star banker.
I think the edraglo will be less effective once everyone starts upgrading their defences, currently most TH12s are still TH11 defence levels so we are seeing an unusually high 3 star rate with the new TH12 troop levels.
In regards to war weight, I don't think any TH12 should care about it currently (providing they were a max 11 before upgrade). I've prioritised all of the big weight items first this time round (excluding the eagle LOL).
*Looks like supercell have fixed the eagle with today's maintenance break so it will be the next on my upgrade list.
I have to say, you guys had some pretty good base designs up top, good luck in your future wars :thumbsup:

Was kinda funny that OCG tried to spy on us, was only about a minute the guy got in but in a way it sullied their attack vs warios because if they got any screenshots of bases, it would have been his.

We tried to include all the accounts that showed up, but the d-less high offense 11's really caused matching issues. Once I trimmed off the bottom 5, we matched in about an hour I think. We still had some engineered bases in the roster, but nothing to extreme. I think 9.11's and 9.5's were the only engineered bases we had.
We got a great match up as well (even if it was a lvl 4 clan vs lvl 17! XD). Matchmaker did a great job matching. Opponents had a bit more fire power then we did, but we had a bit more defense then them.
CWSF attacks were great as always. Lots of tips and information exchanges via FC's, Chat, and war attacks. Add to that a good atmosphere and a strong sense of comradely, it was a great time.
War day was a bit slow at times, we got 40/40 attacks in with about 30 minutes to spare. The enemy had a few "heartbreaker" attacks (a 99% 2 star on our #2 for example), but we had a few our selves (we got a 99% 1 star on their #2). Ultimately they used too many attacks on our 9.11's and th10's, and their top game was not quite on the same level as ours (with the exception of possibly their #1 and #2). It was a fun war and was still anybody's war up until the last few hours when we started pounding in the nails. It was a great war experience.

Might be worth putting a few restrictions on the hyper engineered bases for the next war? I know the whole point for the CWSF events are for any forum member and any account you want to bring but the matchmaker wasn't liking them too much!
Also, I think due to the late start time many players had to get back to their home clans and we didn't get our usual 2nd smaller war in.
I promise, next war I WILL put together a basic recap video.
