Calling all collector raiders!!
The majority of my gold & elixer comes from the grinding of efficient (ha!) collector raiding.
Over the hundreds and hundreds of battles that I have been involved in I have developed my own kind of system to make sure I get the most out of my army barracks training time and my hard earned elixer...
- Trophy range - 1500-1600
- Troops - Archers & Goblins (2xbarracks constantly on each), I also add minions if not saving de, this decreases training time.
- Minimum loot - 100k of each if super easy (collectors all outside or pickable). 150k of each in collectors (can get loot and 50% with up to 3/4 of army. 200k+ of each (whole army needed).
I am not saying what I do is best, it is what works for me after adapting to suit my playing style. This normally gets me near the 1miliion of each per hour mark. More during certain periods, not very often less.
What I would like to know is what criteria do all you other collector raiders use!
What trophy ranges do you stay within?
What armies are you using?
What criteria do you look for whilst searching?
Also what TH you are is pretty important! :)

Troops:100 Barbarians, 100 Archers (Time Effective, And cost Effective)
Trophie Range:1100-1250 (lots of inactive)
Goal Recources:200k Of each-At least
Town Hall Level:8

Most Efficient Strategy For Me
Army Composition: 20 Barbarians/40 Archers/10 Wallbreakers/8 Giants/80 Goblins/10 Minions
Strategy:
1.Check for CC Troops (Very rare since you're attacking abandoned bases, but still good to just make sure) and Heroes.
2. Lure the CC Troops or heroes
3. Use a mixture of minions, barbarians and archers to kill of Heroes and CC Troops.
4. Start off by checking if there's any exposed mines/collectors, if there's any, use archers to snipe, if there's some that are only being protected by non-air-targeting defences, use remaining minions.
5. Use giants to tank defences (Only use them if you think it's worth the elixir and time), then, deploy 5-10 goblins for each mine/collector. Use archers if need be.
6. If there's some mines/collectors left behind walls, use either remaining barbarians or 1-2 giants to distract defences. Deploy the amount of wallbreakers needed to break in. Deploy goblins to slurp those resources.
7. Normally, if the amount of trophies I will lose if I lose the battle is quite a lot (25+ Trophies), I either like to complete 50% (I will only do this if I have 40%+), or, I like to snipe the defender's Townhall with my Archer Queen (If it's exposed enough)
Criteria For The Base I'm Attacking: 200/100 or 100/200 or 100/100 if the base is easy enough, mines/collectors outside. I really don't care about Dark Elixir as I am in a quite low trophy count for it.
Trophy Range: 1300-1400 is 'The Sweet Spot' for me. 1250-1299 and 1450-1401 is alright as well.
