Why is it walls on a diagonal plane do not join up? It requires twice the walls to build straight up or down. I am sure you can apply all kinds of logic to it but really why was this choice made and has it ever been revisited?
I have 3 mage towers, 3 air defenses ... trying to make a 3 walled pie shape is near impossible....
This is actually strange imo. Not sure why that is.

We are working in squares here so a diagonal is 1.414 times longer than the straight line. It would be weird if the diagonal joined the walls in a solid way. You wouldn't build a fortress wall out of big square blocks that only met at the 90 degree edges, would you?
