Saver or Spender?
As the title says.....are you a saver or spender?
I think I may be the poorest level 114 farmer in HD. I have just 800'000 coins in my piggy bank. I live in fear that an update will bring a new machine that costs a gazillion coins and yet I still keep spending!
I love a bit of shopping in the DD. I buy everything I see and hoard eggs like a broody hen. Wheat, Indigo, corn, carrots...basically any crop. Tofu dogs, cloche hats, bacon and eggs - yes please! I get a little bit faint when I see expansion items and the other day I bought 10 blankets which is by far, the best shopping catch for a long while.
Then of course I can't help but decorate with gold. It started with the 100 tree and since then I have got a gold wall to rival China and a gold path that the munchkins would appreciate.
I think I might need therapy

I'm a bit of both. I save... I spend. I always say, "I'm not gonna upgrade my barn again" .... 2 seconds later in the newspaper "oooo! A BOLT!" *click*
Since I took a break and being back, I am working hard on expanding my land. I like to decorate (spend) so the extra land helps me still be a productive farm while looking good.
I don't like dropping below 1M coins (though I have been floating around 900k . As for SC, one of the things I enjoy about this game is they never seem to be too pushy with costs or spending. I think costs are relatively appropriate. I don't expect them to one day pull a fast one.
I've been sending Tom for blankets and selling them off. Its the biggest money maker I have right now. About 6k profit every couple of hours.

I would call myself a saver. The gold stuff doesn't really impress me much. But lately have seen some nice farms that use quite a bit. I guess my lack of creativity helps me save too.

I'm a saver I guess. I don't shop much in the DD because I usually don't have time for it and I don't really like it anyway. It's just endless ads of needless stuff. I'm not much into decorations. I do buy the one's I like but they tend to cost diamonds. From the beginning my strategy for playing has been to make things myself. It's kind of against my style of play to buy things for boats or town or friends etc. Buying and selling at a lower price just seems like the wrong thing to do even though I don't need the coins. Then again if I see premium items for sale I am going to buy them but I rarely go looking for them.

With over $30 million coins, I'd have to call myself a saver.
Although I did spend 415 diamonds this morning on the 9th fishing lure spot....

Saver.
Closing in on 10.8 million coins. :)

I guess I'd have to be a saver.
I think of decor as just clutter that gets in the way of my farming experience.
And I find shopping in the DD frustrating.
119 million coins. Level 127
Too bad money didn't come this easy in real life.

Haha… cute thread, Vicky!XD …uhhhhhh… I dunno which I am!… I save, then I spend, save, spend, save…

A bit of both. I will buy anything good I see in the paper and have many in game friends with great shops, but won't spend much coin on decorations. Always looking to turn coin into xp. Level 147 and I have been between 4.8 and 5.2 million coins for months.

Daily Dirt = Spender. I'll buy anything I need from the paper regardless of cost.
Decorations = Saver. Until I reach higher levels where my coin balance is greater I make minimal and affordable purchases only for now.

A bit of both I think. I have more in game coin than I could ever use so will spend there but am more careful with 💎💎💎.

What a great question..... I dont think I fit into either actually, but I tend to be more of a giver, I've taken lots of lower levels under my wing during my years playing and helped them get current on machines, expansions, TT, boat help and so on. I think I've given away more than I've spent on my farm, but that the great thing about HD, everyone has their own playing style!
Happy farming :)

I a bit of both, I like spending on decorations and in the DD. However I had to save money when I was needing the tea machine. But now I have over 5 million dollars and nothing to spend it on. Hopefully one day we get a new machine.
