Holy ♥♥♥♥, someone do something about people lighting dark elixir, i now lost a total of 10000 dark elixir, please make storage s stronger, its not fair for people to lose 3 days of dark elixir collection and raiding just cuz someone decides to ♥♥♥♥♥ and lighting some
True, people are becoming cowardly and dont even bother fighting to get it, my idea was to make the lighting spell do 30✖(times) less damage to storages.
So agreed, supercell should implement this RIGHT AWAY!
It is part of the games so get over it! If he/she did it to you then you can do it back to him/her. However, idea for those who do not read the sticky, has been accepted a while ago about Teslas absorbing some of the lightening spell damage but it is not known when or if this idea will be work or or implemented.

What happens when you are saving up and this person just lightnings you. You lose a large quantity and cannot get it back. For example, earlier today I was lightninged and when I visited they were a town hall 7 with only 1000 in the storage. Raiding them would only get me back a fraction of what was lost. At least make it so you can get all the de you lost back through revenge.Quote:

I really hate this too. I know in my clan we get banned for lightning DE if we get caught. Its a weak way to get DE. But I never complain. If you want to waste 70,000 Gold taking 1k of my DE, and then have me get it all back from you, be my guest.
It's a flaw in the game as far as I'm concerned, the fact you can steal resource without a single troop is disgraceful. It's a joke SuperCell aren't doing more about.
Lightning should only be able to do 50% damage to storage's.
That won't eliminate in completely - which SC seem to be so heavily against...
But it would make a substantial impact against it - unlike the small HP increase - it hasn't stopped lightning at all.
The conversion factor is actually 1 de to 100 gold so they are making the value of 100k gold with 70k goldQuote:

If you start farming then it increases the chance of you getting a free sheild, thus saving u from multiple DE zaps in one night. Either that or raise in trophies to where people cant afford to loose the trophies by zapping your storage.Quote:

this is my first ever post in a DE zapping thread. I finally could not resist reacting to the whining.
Your farming between 1000 and 1600 so you can hit on WEAK and DEFENSELESS bases.
But then you start complaining that such a WEAK th7 hits you back with the only means he has. And that is sooooo unfair.
Its like when a 6 foot 5 bully is bulling a 5 foot kid and starts complaining when the kid kicks him between the balls.
My solution: Just stop bulling the 5 foot kid

Answer of the 5 foot kid: then you better buy a protective cup and stop whining
I love lighting spell. It is sad so many are using it on DE storages, but it is part of the game. Just like every thing else you have to figure out a way around it. On way it obviously to spend the DE. Another is to upgrade your storage so you will not get as big of a hit. If that's not possible for you then another great way is to get your cups up over 2000 and up there people are not doing it as much... I hope they don't change the spell though or up the strength of the storages they already have a lot of hit points...
Put your TH outside so you are likely to get a shield on the first lightning attack (or just get a free shield).
The attacker likely wants to raise trophies to target other bases with good DE.
Revenge them when they've loaded up on DE.
It's annoying i totally agree, I sit at anywhere between 1,800 - 2,000 I still get zapped, all the time, but in reading the HP of the DE storage again would be such a silly approach, takes forever for anything to destroy them as it is.
There isn't really an answer, all i can think of is removing the loot cap on JUST DE on a revenge, at least this will allow players to think twice about zapping higher levels.
Well you guys who complain about this please stop... I would love to know what you would tell the townhall 7 people who are at lets say 1000-1400 troophies and gets farmed by higher townhalls every day and only because they are easy targets who you can send 20 goblins to and get those 300k from their mines/collectors started to make 100 threads about nerfing your troops because you are ♥♥♥♥♥ farming lower town halls? I really don't see any point in complaining on low tier people trying to get some dark elixir for their barb king or similar stuff... Because every single "farmer" already makes them have a real hard time to save gold and elixir!!!
It's all parts of the game like a piece of a puzzle and if you dont remember then I remind you now that there has been a quite big upgrade recently of the hp on DE storages, level 3 storage already got 2400hp which cant even go down to 5 max lightning strikes so the town hall 7 lightningstrikes most likely takes 5% of total amount de able to be stolen each. I see so much bigger opportunities for those lightning users to get some archers and raid your DE collectors or use 1-2 lightningstrikes on them...
Anyway to much writing but no way I see a point in this "I have a hard time protecting my DE because im farming at 1200-1400 troophies where people lightning strikes my storages and im premade th10 so they get quite a high percentage but I forgot that this wouldnt happen if I stayed in the troophy range where th8-10 only are" ♥♥!!
Btw im th8 and dont ever use lightning strikes to farm de but I sometimes see easy th10 targets at 1200-2000 troophies with alot darkelixir to steal and I try my best to steal it with troops^^ though most th9/th10 is almost impossible to get the DE storage from without training a 1:15 hours army lol
I agree increasing the HP again would be a terrible approach. But there is absolutely no reason why storage's cannot have 50% immunity against lightning. [Or lightning only does 50% damage to storage's - both works]Quote:

I dunno what annoys me more, threads about how supercell is to fault about all the endless gemming premmie TH10s who have found out about the loot penalty too late, or threads about the lightning spell.
Grow a pair, please. It's part of the game. Sure, it's annoying, and when I want to save up a large amount of DE, I can love up to 5000 a day. But, you know what? They will be sorry when I three-star them the next morning with 10 drags and I get my DE back.
I got a better idea. How about Supercell give all of you 20k DE everyday for FREE? And maybe 100 gems too? Or would you like more resources?
It might put the issue to bed but it will have been by giving in to the demands of a bunch of whining babies. Anyone who has any basic knowledge of reinforcing actions knows that giving into a whining babies demands will only cause them to do it again in the future because they know that you are likely to give in so that you do not have to continue to hear them whine. I have lost lots of dark elixir and guess what I did, I was ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off for a second and then moved on and started collecting dark elixir again.Quote:

NO, and I mean this in the nicest way possible but suck it up people! I have 3 lightening spell sitting in my spell factory and making them only work on defences would make them useless. The only time I use them is when I come across a particularly annoying assortment of clan castle troops and lightening then to death or when the stupid AI screws me over by having troops attack walls as apposed to going through an already present opening.
To reiterate some points I made in this thread:
1. Most importantly suck it up people!!
2. It has already been accepted as a possibility that Teslas could absorb some of the damage of the Lightening spell, but as always SC says that this is not a guarantee that this idea will e Ed be worked on.

Well I have another point, if I am loosing a battle against someone with high loots in storages and I got like no loot from it but realise I have my last lightning spell left, then I shouldnt be able to use it in mid of the base where some people got all their storages gathered up because that is cowardly done? Btw I cant understand why it shouldnt be available to lightning strike storages or why it should deal like 0damage to the storage because sometimes its the only way to save me from getting no loot in a failed battle where I had a dragon kill my army or similar. But the worst scenario is for those th7 people trying to get a barbarian king, should they only be able to get darkelixir from the th8 people or? Also shouldnt they have any way to revenge a th10 who 100% kill them with double as good troops and a defense which th7 cant ever get through? LOL i start to get irritated about complaints only fitting the some people.

It's a system which punishes players with stronger halls, stronger defenses and lots of DE.
So yeah, people WILL keep complaining until SuperCell DO something about it. And they have every right to do so.
glad you joined the forums and welcome! unforunately supercell wont implement soem of these ideas and if you read the sticky it will say what is ruled out and what has been asked for before
