What troops are most important for trophy pushing

Okay what's best to upgrade for trophy pushing i already have level 6 archers/barbs level 5 minions.. What should i upgrade here are the options golums (level 1)or balloons (they're level 3) please post any opinions

I found golems and wizards to be very useful when pushing past 2400+

Their are a few strats that I've noticed that seem to be particularly effective

1) Golems and Wizards (then add witches, and after that Pekka as you can)
2) Balloons/Minions (if you have LvL 6 balloons)
3) Mass Hogs - Healers and balloons make a good compliment and whatever strong clean up troop you already have
4) Mass Dragons - I recommend this with a few minions to heard the buggers around. With this one you pretty much pick on people with under upgraded air defenses or ones in the process of getting some up to speed (rage or lightening and later freeze and rage)
5) Mass Witches - Must have a golem now to tank, and throw in a few wizards for damage. Very expensive.



However, you can get quite far with your Barb/Archers/Minions if you target bases that don't protect their TH particularly well. Throw in your heros and a golem/Pekka and you get quite high really. In particular I know 1 golem and mass archers does quite well.

Someone has got to figure out an awesome trophy army consisting of the underdogs, i.e. healer goblin valk wb :)

Upgrade the Balloons. If you have some spare dark elixir upgrade the golem.

My hogs are level 1 are they effective at level 5 at 2800+ trophies?

I'm convinced lvl 5 hogs can work in champion league. I've devastated some bases in crystal 1 that could be in champion.

Like they nerfed witches?

I hope not. Still takes skill to win on bases with inferno towers. I don't think their over powered.

You forgot my personal favorite: Giant-Healer. ( I actually use a modified version of this for farming)
