TH8 - Trophy Push (Masters)

Here are the results of my TH8 trophy push:

Final army composition:
2x lvl1 Golems
3x lvl2 Pekkas
4x lvl3-4 Minions
6x lvl5 Wall Breakers
9x lvl5 Archers
9x lvl5 Wizards
--
2x lvl5 Rage Spells
1x lvl5 Heal Spell

Reached highest trophy count of 2651, promptly lost on defence a few minutes later.

I used Pingfao's TH8 base, which stopped winning altogether once I passed 2400 (aside from trophy droppers).

Here's base and final defence log (2 day shield activated immediately after reaching masters, cheers for the 1000 gems :rolleyes: )

I did try this, but it was a little tricky with only 200 army camp spaces. I used golem/wiz/pekka just because I was more confident with it haha

Very impressive, TH8 requires a ton of modifications to high trophy armies to be effective, so it is a very commendable effort to get that high.

Thanks guys! My question is.. Should I continue pushing to test the limits of TH8? Or should I drop back down to finish walls and start TH9?

Set an example! If your buildings are maxed, hang out around the top and milk the league bonus for walls. There are quite a few high trophy armies(that you'd of course have to modify) on the forums, so see if you can find a quicker army(practice on campaign). I wish the best of luck to you, and see high master's as doable, and champions to be possible with a shift ton of luck.
