This gut has a point, we need to be able to watch videos for gems. Clearing obstacles only has a chance of getting you gems and you only get 1-3 gems. And you have to wait some time if you already cleared all obstacles( like me) before more appear. Gems also get super cell ALOT of money. So the only way to make this considerable is to have other apps or ect pay super cell to advertise their product in their videos, you watch the videos and get gems, but at one point there will be no videos to watch, and then you'll have to wait some more time for them to get new sponsors.

Supercell would get more money if the had advertisements.....
If supercell puts ads in the game, it will totally ruin the gameplay. DON'T PUT ADS IN THE GAME!!!!!
Let me clarify, you watch an advertisemen, then you gets certain amount of gems. Not those annoying pop ups that you have to pay for to get rid of.
When the game first came out, Supercell commented that Clash of Clans was without gimmicks like inviting friends or watching videos for gems. I don't believe they have changed their stance.Quote:
