3 Reasons To ALWAYS Max Out Your Town Hall

1. Loot Penalty
Every time you go up another town hall you loose available loot. EXAMPLE: If a TH7 attacks a TH10 you will get 200% of the available loot so instead of getting 100K gold, you will get 200K gold

2. Less Time In The Next Town Hall
As I explained in 1, you will not get as much loot, so you have to raid more. If you raid more, your loosing more loot and time.

3. The Intimidation Factor
So lets be honest, if your farming at TH6 and you come across a maxed TH8 are you going to attack it? NO! You see pink wizard towers and its an automatic skip. You get intimidated and don't even want to try. So better defences means you keep more loot.

TL;DR Three reasons you should max your TH is because of the loot penalty, less time in your next TH, and the intimidation factor.

You messed up on the loot penalty.
It's 198k for same TH, not 100k

I've gotten million resource raids against premature th 10s with lvl 3 defs no Xbow inferno tower and 1 mortar and 1 wizard tower it amazes me how stupid ppl are sometimes

My clan mates have recently been encouraging me to make the leap to TH9. However, I don't plan to until I have finished my archer towers, teslas and gold mines. The reason for this is that I don't see ANY advantage of upgrading early.

Sure I can get my archer queen faster, and lvl 6 troops but what for? I loose some of my loot bonuses and get caps against TH8 bases - which is the last lvl before x-bows and inferno towers (which are a big change in defenses)


However, I am not also going to wait at TH8 for maxed walls - the return on those is minimal at best.

This thread is the most pointless thread ive seen, even more pointless than a thread about why its good to have your CC in the middle...

Generally speaking, yes you should max everything, but I believe there are cases where this conventional wisdom is not the best course of action.
