I wonder how many shiny red mystery boxes I need to tap… I wonder… If I fill more Daily Dirt boat crates, will it help me find them? I wonder… very elusive, they are…

if you really want permits, the most reliable way to ensure getting them is in derby rewards. lock in any permits offered by clicking on them, then re-shuffle rewards a few times to see if more are offered and similarly lock them in. i'm not sure if there's a maximum, like if permits appear in certain columns only, but i know you can get more than one.

You can get two as derby rewards. Rows 4 and 7 specifically so once you lock those two don't spin anymore for them. Opening red boxes I think is next best way. Just open as many as you have the patience to for. I started on friends bar and went up and down it over and over and over. I did use diamonds to open more but I noticed I seemed to get as many from free ones as I did from ones I paid 3 diamonds to open. But I opened many many many. Just keep at it and good luck
With all the encouragement I'm getting from you all, I'll doggedly keep sniffing out these little scrolls… I've actually been able to open up two plots thus far, and I'm looking forward to opening the one that has a swing hanging from a tree with a beautiful heart-hollowed trunk…just need 5 more permits!:smirk: I do believe that's my favorite of the new decos.:heart:
I've only managed to find 6 of the special permits. So I figured, as much as I would love the deco, I will open the other farm land first. Land deeds are not something my farm produces in the quantity I need, so it will be quite some time. I'm always excited to find a few in a friends RSS ;) Eventually it will all get open. Just another challenge.

I have once got one off the prize wheel and in a red chest too. It's something we are going to have to be patient with, otherwise you'll spend quite a lot of diamonds trying to open locked chests or take extra spins on the wheel to try get them.
I've had 7 so far in my could of weeks of playing (newbie). I think most came from red toolboxes (I didn't use gems).
I'm not sure if any came from my corn or animals/pets, but it's possible.
Now if I could only do something with these little scrolls.
