No, this isn't yet another thread about engineering but a common anti-laloon design. Picture all the air defences on one side of the town hall and the Eagle at the other. Laloon tends to work best attacking towards the eagle on a regularly distributed base but on these, the hounds all disappear off to the ADs, leaving your loons to be rapidly destroyed, without their tanks.
I am after suggestions re how best to hit these bases with Laloon. I am trying to hit Legend and can't afford to next past them and, unlike in war, I can't change my army (8 drags and 23 loons works very nicely to 1-2* these bases). I have tried hitting side-on but it tends to leave you scrambling for a very shaky 50%.
Thanks!
I know the base you mean, but honestly with air in multiplayer, its worth skipping imo.
if i have to hit them i tend to either hit side on or from the non ad side, as long as the non ad side isnt riddled with wiz towers and predictable air mines.
If its all air mines and wts one side and ads the other, i will go the ad side but heavier towards the th. And try clear a path to th for heros on clean up.
Its always a little shakey though, never can be too sure on those anti laloon bases.
Bowler and witches.
AQ walk, some bowlers king. Take out couple of ADs. Rest 1 or 2 hounds and lots and lots of loons.
Lol thanks for completely ignoring the question and answering a different one, you two! Obviously there are lots of ways of hitting these bases but that was not what I was asking
I don't understand your question.. you said what your doing is working well and refused to consider a different army. Really not sure what you were hoping to hear given those constraints.
OP was trying to ask how he can hit these anti Lalo bases with Laloon, he might be looking for insight on whether or not there should be a different approach on these kinds of bases yet still use Laloon. Even I won't dare attack one with Laloon.
Depends on how close to the edge the ADs are. If possible open up with a QW to take care of ADs + CC. The main problem when using air against these bases is imo that the AQ often is at the other side of the AD meaning she will take down the Loons with ease. Try taking her out with a Skeleton spell.
The main problem in approaching these bases with Laloon is that Hounds can't tank. If you try to eliminate ADs then Hounds will just be the same as Loons, with properly placed sweepers, a WT or 2 can kill off the entire attack. Not to mention traps are a headache as well.
