Thanks for your clarification on how I focused on an unimportant detail. That's where I thought you were going with this.
Why did you ask then? You seam to have an attitude which is totally unnecessary, it's a public discussion and in a discussion it's perfectly fine to point out if that a point being made is not correct, even if a counter point is not correct. Everyone makes mistakes of perception, logic or focus, just because I point one out doesn't mean anything more than you missed the salient point on 1 particular thread, there is no need or benefit to turn antagonistic or snarky. I've made many such mistakes and being a public forum I am very happy for people to point them out. Chris's for example points out it's hypocritical to claim engineering is ok, yet complain about the term sandbagging. I totally agree with him, and no longer get as upset with the term.
As you wish though.
Still don't understand why people say it is unfair to engineer, it isn't unfair at all, and it isn't breaking any TOS
Engineering is difficult and actually takes skill, you get hammered on D and lose a lot of resources and need to recover, yes you get a advantage in war but you still need to know how to attack
I personally think people need to stop focusing on this and just try their best to win wars, if you lose, move on, see where the engineer clans are hitting all your bases and make improvements
I made a mini account , have it up to TH9, I have 1 of each defense built, and I have a blast, I smash everything in war and I have fun looting with the base
I can see how it is frustrating for people but it is part of the game, all you can do is try your best, if you lose, you lose, just enjoy the game.
I realize that English is not your first language so I appreciate that your response has literally nothing to do with what I posted...GL!
Spot on as usual sir! Fair wars are important to the long-term viability to the game...
Thank you for saying my statement is absolutely ridiculous. At least I know you don't want to fight. :)
I think you tend to use absolutes and phrases in a way that puts folks on the defensive. Not sure why you picked out my comment and say I chose to focus on something that was unimportant (which is subjective), when I was pointing out how Sin mistakenly corrected the posters remark about it being against the ToS to have multiple accounts. That was my point. Period. End of discussion as it relates to that exchange.
You could have asked me or stated "yes, it's not against the ToS to have multiple accounts, but what about the poster's claim it was hard to manage and create multiple accounts?" Instead, you said I chose to focus on an unimportant detail, and how I'm absolutely ridiculous. Does that sound like fighting words to you? Because it does to me.
Now to get to your statement in which you sandwiched it with insults to me: You wanted to ensure that I know and everyone else in the forum know your stance on managing and creating multiple accounts: It's easy.
Great. I'm happy for you that you find it easy.
I have also created and managed multiple accounts. I don't think it's easy, but that is subjective.
I'm sure you will follow this up and point out how wrong I am...sigh...
Johnny, I have no desire to fight with you or to troll. I was pointing out that the posters salient point that it's hard to make a engineered account, was not undone by sins misreading of the point, I thought you would agree with that. My comment that it was unimportant was a sub comment to my main comment that the initial point was incorrect.
The way you suggest I phrased it, isn't in substance any different to the way I phrased it, I agree however probably a better way to phrase it to ensure the post wasn't taken the wrong way.
My comment is not that you are ridiculous, you know very well I respect you as a forumer. I said your comment that I was looking for a fight and trolling were ridiculous comments because they seem so unreasonable. I have no intention or desire to get in a fight.
Can't complain about them because they aren't going anywhere... I just stick to competitive leagues and pot lucks that don't allow them (such as the cwl). If you struggle at the game and cant seem to 3 star someone that is your same townhall level... then do what everyone else does that is bad at attacking... make an engineered account so you have th11 offense going against th9s! Trust me, this will greatly increase a bad attackers chances at 3 starring the base across from you in war.
