Town expansion?

Hey,

I recall seeing a post recently that there was going to be developments with the town but cannot find it. Does anyone recall what the details were? And whether there will be land expansions in the town coming soon? I have collected 262 maps in preparation lol

there are a few 'teasers' as to some future development in town currently visible. there is an unfinished wood platform on the right side of town, and a mysterious new sign (looks like a yellow road sign) near the personal train. nothing has been announced as to exactly what purpose these will serve, but speculation abounds.
