Walls worth the sleeping builder?

I wouldn't keep 5 (Five!) idle builders just to finish walls, there's ton to do at TH9 so better get to it. Have at least all walls purple and whatever you can black. Few bases have 100% black walls at TH9 and 10 and many still do very well.

My recommendation is to always max out your town hall before moving on. Suffer a bit right now that way you wont later on. Plus loot is good at TH 8 so you shouldn't have trouble getting gold. GL

4 active builders and 1 non-active builder is good in my opinion if you can raid average of 3 millions a day. This way you will be able to get your wall to the max fast.

Currently, I am at TH9 and doing average of 6-7 millions a day. I used the same 4 active and 1 non-active builder. I am working on getting all wall 8 while trying to max out my defensive buildings. Hopefully, when I have max out my defensive buildings, I will have half of the wall 9.

Just saying but if you have underdeveloped walls you are not 90% maxed haha. But anyways yea it is worth it and you have other things to upgrade (like barracks, mines or pumps) so you don't have to have all of them sleeping. And do you mean loot penalty? Cause the only loot bonuses are for leagues, not Ths haha. And if you raid well then it shouldn't take you long to catch up.

You get a loot bonus for attacking town halls higher than yours just like you get a loot penalty for attacking town halls lower than you. You get a league bonus for winning matches, determined by what league you are in.
