Should I go or should I stay, Th9 before I max up my base?

Wait! Max out everything!

Upgrade to TH9, not many things in this game are more frustrating than sitting with maxed storages 95% of the time and having no walls to dump it on. The wisdom behind staying TH8 until fully maxed is so gold is easier to farm, so what's the point of staying if you're having to throttle your farming while builders finish upgrades? Go ahead and upgrade, you won't be sorry, you'll just get going on your level 9 walls and AQ even sooner. TH9 loot is great these days.

Your barracks look fine to me as well, as long as the total queue space exceeds your total army camp space, and you're not itching to do any mass dragon attacks, you should be good with what you have. Throw the next free builder on the TH.

Just upgrade now. Finish some last minute stuff while your TH is upgrading, and you'll be fine. The loot penalty at TH9 really isn't as bad as some people say it is.

Really good points on both side so far guys, I felt more uncertain of what to do that ever, but it was this post from bbehaghel that has swung me to the waits (atm), because my king is only just upgrading to level 6 now. which means I could take him to level 10 at a total DE cost of 130K, thats going to take some weeks to get I imagine, especially with level 5 troops :)

So right now I'm thinking I could slow down on the gold and really start trying to get the dark stuff instead,

Also, most of the attack stuff I use is maxed except spells and pekka (barbs funnily enough are still L3 and will be staying at L3 forever). At any rate I should able to find work for the lab for over 30 days if i do everything (valks and golem excluded cause thats crazy DE).

Problem solved, I think!

One last thing, I'm very happy to see the poll being used and would love for players to continue voting there opinion for the next couple of days, to see how close it can get.

Yes you have nearly maxed out walls... but some extra wall hit points don't necessarily help as much as maxed defenses when attackers have high damage troops like wizards and wall breakers to get to your storage's and town-hall. I've greatly under estimated my teslas and just now I'm upgrading them - two of them to 4 and one of them to 3. I will probably end up with all level 5's before I start the townhall upgrade so I can upgrade to 6 while my th is going - not to mention I will have all of these damned walls to get to 8. (I'm only like 30 walls into it.)

I would tell you to go. Your defence is more than high enough to compete at th9, you could finnish your lvl 8 walls while your th upgrades. It's a long wait ;)

Upgrade the wizard towers.

Max everything.
