Should I go or should I stay, Th9 before I max up my base?

I have a pretty good Th8, its not maxed though, and thinking of going to Th9.
I know upgrading before I've maxed everything is not a good way to go, but I will have finnished maxing my L8 wall in a few days and will have to stop raiding cause of storage space overflow, would it be wrong for me to go for Th9 a little earlier than planned?

Update and closing words on thread from Gendel, 11 sept 2013

​So having let the poll and thread run its course I can now say with confidence- I'm going to be maxing my town at Th8.

Is going to take me over 40 days, though having read everything It should be worth the wait. The wall will be finished very soon, so I have moved over to getting the DE thats needed to upgrade my King and DT to max.

My one regret on the game so far is definatly not that I finished the L8 wall so fast (thats actually pretty nice), it's that I have to spend so long to upgrade my teslas now and should have maxed them at Th7.

If anybody has been following this thread, you might like to look out for my next tread, to be posted in 40 days time it will be called- Whats wrong with my Th8 base? Should be worth a visit, if you like looking at maxed bases and helping fine tune them.

I'm say stay just because of your wizard towers. Splash damage is the most important defense to have maxed and level 6 wizard towers are no exception. I've seen mine tear apart groups of giants, they are very powerful. Other then that your teslas could use a few more levels also but everything else looks good

At least max your barracks. Do you want to farm with 3 normal barracks on top of th9 penalties?

Wait ;) xbows are good, but try maxxing your teslas, air defences and archer tower before! Barracks are good too, and i sure do hope your lab is maxxed! Except maybe DE, and once again, make sure your hero is as high as can be ;) (lvl10)

Ive had this dilemma lots of times. I suggest you wait it out, no matter how boring it gets later on.:) Its still worth it.

Max barracks.

I say go and upgrade those cannons and wiz towers while you are waiting for the townhall upgrade to finish.

It's going to take forever to max out since your teslas are so low level, so you might as well upgrade once you finish your walls, to avoid having excess gold. :rolleyes:

It's def better to spend this forever at th8 than at th9 :)
