New Dark Troop - Arcane Protector

"The Arcane Protector is a terrifying prospect in the fields of war. Specializing in control magics, these magical constructs are able to take control of enemy defences and use them for your benefit!"

Appearance - A floating orb of energy surrounded by several metal plates that slowly orbit it. The orb changes color with every level.

Role -
Arcane Protectors are specialized in taking control of enemy defences and turn them against your foe. Each of them are able to take control of one defensive structure at a time. Only two can be deployed at any time. They favor cannons and archer towers. It takes 3 seconds for them to fully control any specified structure, meaning that they have to be protected with meat shields or else they will be killed in the process.

They have no attack of their own, relying completely on the defences they take control of to deal damage. Once there are no more enemy buildings in the range of the defence they have taken control of, they will rig it to self destruct(who'd like a cannon shooting the last remains of their army anyway) before setting off to find another defence to take control. They always follow the largest mass of troops, and prefer to steal the defences that are behind a wall.

Yeah, just take 1 or 2 golems, bunch of these and cleanup squad and even Th 9 could 3-star max Th 10 or 11.

control the eagle/ground bow = win the attack

Only two of these can be fielded at any time. They cannot be bunched. Ever.

Perhaps it will be only capable of controlling, let us say, cannons or AT, but not Eagle Arty or Bows.

This is a good idea, a suggestion, maybe there should be a limit to the power, like for example at level 1 it wouldn't be able to control archer towers and above, just cannons, at level 2 it can control archer towers but has a limit of 1 or 2. And at level 6 maybe xbows (maybe that level will be available for th12?). Also since it takes control of defense perhaps itll control only half the dps of the defense? It's a good idea it would need major revision though in order to avoid being OP. But a good idea nonetheless.

That's why I said it needs major revision, who knows what if the housing space is changed to 35 or something. It's not a full fletched idea but it's an idea. Don't write it off.

but if he wants to make a new troop mechanic, he has to consider all the possible flaws thats why i said it

I understand but he's probably not used to the workings of this forum or even COC, that's why it's an ideas forum. Also in my opinion this will seem like a good troop for th 12. But like I said it'll need major revisions by the supercell devs

True. Even if I am TH8, it just an account I bought for 20 dollars. Technically I have been in COC for only a few weeks, and here far fewer weeks in the forum.
