Why are people interested in a night mode for the game?

Seems like the most pointless thing they could spend time on in the game.

Also, why are people so interested in a second base? We've spent years on our base, now people want a different base that the boat brings us to?

I feel like I don't want anything that everyone else seems interested in.

What I want is things I can't even imagine, and using my base in cool and interesting new ways. That doesn't involve taking a boat to another base where it's dark out lol...

I still predict Monday or Tuesday. Bet a notice appears later today, tune in to a livestream Sunday. Demonstrate the update. We all get it Monday. The youtubers teach us how it works before they go home.

Heck, the stream may already be recorded. It may have been taped 2 weeks ago when the moderators and reddit folks were there. We know they were playing the update.

Yesterday before watching the video "captains log day 1" i thought the update may be in early nxt week. But it cannot be bcoz '1' means there will be 2,3,4,5........and so on .first video came of this series which was update teaser on MAY 3 next came y-day MAY 5 , now i feel next will come tomorrow that is MAY 7 ( alternate days),and the end of this series will show the update. COC will have mininmum 3 and maximum 5 i feel which means the update may be later next week.

Just watched Clash Tutor's video, and it sounds like the developers are spending a lot of time making sure the update is the highest quality it can be, taking advice from all the people who have seen it, which is pretty encouraging as to what the update will ultimately be.

The update teaser video has nearly double the views of the Call of Duty: WWII Trailer:smirk:

I know it seems weird but what if sc removed multiplayer attack button instead we have to use ship for multiplayer attack and in place of attack button we get a new single player mode?

You're not alone... I've almost farmed my TH11 to max, last thing I want is another base to deal with. If I wanted a second base I'd create another Apple/Google ID XD

Anyway, no idea what the update is really, so can't comment much huh. I'm 99% sure that the things I'm most interested in won't be touched, so just keepin' on with my usual gameplay.

♥♥♥♥ everyone who expected that the next event would be the update event because there was no event scheduduled after the pekka event is wrong, next up is the haste spell event.

At least we can war again without fear the update will release mid war giving one team an advantage / changing end time.

The hype is gradually dying. Its not interesting me anymore. People have speculated and imagined way too much until now for the update to astonish them anymore. Its coming to a point of no return.

It means that we will have Captain's log at least 5 more time.

I think it's better to know that the update isn't coming before the 11th of May, instead of not knowing it at all.. This means now you don't have to check the forums every day to see if the Update Radar has changed, it's confirmed that it isn't coming before Thursday which is a good thing, only disappointing thing is that it still takes a week at least.

If the update is not that day, I'll give you everything you want. It's just memory. All SC big updates have always been on Mondays.

However, the island is a very mysterious Supercell are drawn for the players and can be a great success or great failure.

Yeah... I kind of agree with this. We can only hear "it's so amazing, we just... can't... tell you... quite... yet. Sorry, wish we could", so many times before it gets old and it starts to feel like sheep just being strung along. Last update, besides minor balancing, was December. It's going on 5 months. That's just too long. I think everyone is on the same page, we would rather have a clean update instead of rushed ones, but does it take this long to make a clean update?

The longer this builds, the more the pressure builds that this is a roaring success. If there are bugs, or if this is anything less than mind blowingly massive, the blowback is gonna be big. This has been hyped for so long and th11 update part 2 could kill the game.

It would fit with many of the things hinted at, like the clan tournaments that popped up or the hogrider 180 video, to those saying sneak peaks aren't going to happen.... They are already happening so the update will probably land around the 15th

if that seems legit to you there's something wrong with you.

if the update is so close to be released now that means most of the work is done so why cant SC tell us now whats the new content instead of just keeping up this hype which is just increasing expectations and making people desperate, tbh as many people have said the hype is really dying now, SC did it too much to the point that it just not seems so good to wait endlessly, and now if its not really that massive then its gonna backfire real bad as people's huge expectations will be shattered, few sneak peeks should have been released till now

Guys from Clash Tutor's video. She said that supercell are deliberately not going to bring sneak peeks for this update. This is because they want to surprise us completely. According to Heather this is quite a unique and massive update, so supercell does not want to spoil it by giving out sneak peeks. They want to see our "pure reaction" to the update, only once it is released.

Developers hate deploying on Fridays, because in case of bugs they have to work in-between friday and monday since bugs have to be addressed as soon as possible, you can't let bugs be around for 3 days until Monday and only THEN work on them.
