Very much exited to see the new village, new troops, new heros and all new game play... Boat is the one that takes us to new village - Clash of Clans 2 and at the same time the present village too can be played..
Am i right??? :confused: I hope so...!!! And i am pretty exited...
Game Bending Idea Pertaining to Update
So everyone is speculating about the what/who/when of the coming mega-update and I'm here to throw my 2 cents in about what the game has to offer/what fresh concepts they may incorporate into the game.
This thread is not based on any credible source and I'm just a lowly noob entertaining a periphery of thoughts but if I have learned anything from playing Boom Beach, Clash of clans and hay day, it's that supercell loves to intermittently splice ideas from one game into the other.
So my potential (uninformed and unintelligible) guess as to what the update may entail is the following:
As in Boom Beach you will have to option to explore bases/locations at sea and as a clan have to opportunity to tackle loot-islands. This concept stems largely from the "mega-crab" event in Boom Beach and would entail the entire clan having to attack one target as a unit or perhaps have a limited number of attacks to destroy a exponentially more difficult enemy with each level of destruction being worth more loot.
This is to say that, for instance, you attack an AI base ranked th2, which nets you about 5000 gold/elixer and maybe 100 de, and if destroyed in the number of allotted attacks you move to another harder AI base which is now the defence of a th4, offering even more loot.
This system builds upon randomly generated AI bases stocked with Clan Castles full of a randomized troop or base-suited troop. For a townhall 11 player this base would be extremely difficult to beat with just one simple attack and would require the use of 2-3 followup attacks using different armies each time depending on situation. However, with each base only allowing 3 attacks, if you cannot destroy the base/townhall by the end of your third attack you cannot progress any further.
This is again just an idea but their is the potential for exclusive leaderboards and other challenges to be added with it and make the update one that brings clans closer together (as far as attack strategy goes).
This post is entirely speculation and supercell has yet to confirm anything I've alluded to, so don't jump on me for false claims but it would be interesting to see the potential army integration in an AI based battlefield more intricately designed than the come-as-you-wish play style of the goblin base campaign missions.
