wow, this thread hit 2k post. WoW

Lach updated the thread to say last updated 4/30. Where I am from a week starts on Monday. However, I have heard other places thinknofnit as starting on Sunday. Anyway, my point is did Lach just extend the no sneak peeks until at least the week of May 8th?

edit: apparently this has been discussed. Two thing learned / noted. First, the first day of the week in the US is Sunday? I have lived here all 36 years of my life and I always thought of it as Monday. Second, Lach should have waited until Monday because this simply added confusion to something that is also clearly disappointing.

The thread in database contains nothing but text so its size is relatively low. Add to that posts are saved in a separate record for each of them related to the ID of thread. So no both are nearly the same :)

Now the confusion seems complete. SC updated the first post so the info is correct up to this point. They say noting has changed but with that something significant has changed since Sunday is the first day of the week which means that we can't expect any sneak peeks until at least next Sunday.

However, there are also people who say that the week starts on Monday which means that it is unclear now if we can expect sneak peeks this week or not. Perhaps SC can clarify what they exactly mean with this status update. Is it really certain that we won't see any sneak peeks this week or, does the week begin on Monday at SC?

This is the problem. is one the thing to wait and another to wait for something when you have no idea when it's coming.
Like I said a lot of time, SC just tell us when it's coming

Here the start of the week is Monday. https://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/days/monday.html says Monday is the first day of week except in US, Canada & Japan. So there is still hope! Tomorrow is first day of week :)

Im honestly fine with the update coming out in a couple of weeks as long as we get sneak peeks this week, just want to know what this so called massive update is. SC just give us the sneak peaks even if the update won't come out right away when the peeks are over

This update is like telling your kids that you are going to disneyworld a year in advance. Then every day leading up the kids bug you about it and you lose your mind.

yes they could, at this point you tubers have played the update and we know the update is right around the corner, the clash team could just be working on bug fixes right now, therefore they could definitely show us sneak peeks and still be working on the update

I'm sure the only people who know either work for SC, and they're not telling, or are covered by a NDA, and they can't tell, so just like the update you'll have to wait & see.

I'm guessing that. To me, the week starts on Sunday, so I'm not expecting anything this week.

That is the whole problem. We don't know. He might try to tell us that there are no sneak peeks until at least next sunday since sunday is here the first day of the week, but we don't know since he is not telling us. This update makes everything just more confusing.

Since there are so many "leaks" I thought that there might be a good chance that the sneak peeks are coming Monday or Tuesday. A lot of compagnies use "leaks" as a sort of extra promotion for their product. First they get in the news because there is something "leaked" and after that they get in the news a second time with the same information because it is then officially announced. It is all free publicity and creates hype. They also often announce that they are going to announce something. In this case they announced that there is no announcement of the announcement to be expected. ;-)

There is no confusion most of the countries Sunday is followed as the last day of the week and Monday as the first day of the week....

Mod said from 25th to 30th there is no change to status that's all....

Why can't they just give us a rough idea of what is being added now? This would kill speculation and make people settle down. If changes need to be made before the update drops, then tell us and then give the reasons why.

What, how can April fools day be a hint. If it was when Supercell first said it was the first Update sneak peeks would come on April 1st.

So the April fools was that it would come a month later.

After all this pointless suspension , any update that will come out wont hit the community expectations , you hurt yourself
By not telling anyone about anything SC.., kinda why like the reason hl3 wont come out , hype is a two way sword

While calendars in the US almost always start with a Sunday, I never have considered Sunday the start of the week and I'm from the USA. Sunday is part of the weekEND...imo.

Smolson updated today's date in the 1st post and it still says sneak peeks not this week. I hope he didn't imply another week.

It does seem like it's going to be at least another week before we even get sneak peeks. While I am a little bummed out about it, I would rather them get it right than release something broken.

I really doubt this is all a joke. The amount of players peeved about it would cause SC to lose profits - which they wouldn't do.

And in their two videos, they discuss the leaked images and they focus on certain features of the leaked images. Those elements which they focus on are true and those images are true images. Otherwise, they would not have wasted their time on them. This is the earliest peek you can get into the new update.

I absolutely agree is better than nothing.. of course leaks lead to vast amounts of speculation - moreso than sneak peeks, but it's fun to guess a little.

So the leaks won't be this week then? According to Lach's post it says not this week, but some countries start with Monday as it's first day of the week (like France)

Smolson clarified that he was simply updating us that there was no new info to give out. I think with this we can assume the "not this week" is still referencing the week it originally applied to, not this next week.

I guess we'll find out for sure in the next couple days, but in the U.S., the week normally begins with Sunday.

I believe sneak peaks will begin after this 4x bonus is over. Just my gut feeling

Here in Brazil came a list of leaks but soon after was corrected and said that list is false. But ah something on this list that caught my attention: clan tournament. Is there any possibility of this happening?

Sneak peeks has always started on monday in finland. And finland is the location of SC. So, there is possibility. I doubt it, but it could be. Why would the start week from sunday?

The update seems to take forever, come on guys give us some sneak peek at one of the features(other than the ship) a discussion thread on one of the upcoming feature would be more meaningful than riding this hype train with no stop in sight.
