I think the sneak peeks could very wel begin this Monday. Of course I could be mistaken but it makes some sense. They added a "sneak peek radar" to this thread which says that the sneak peeks will not start this week. Of course, when they remove that sneak peek radar or they claim that they will post the sneak peeks later that week, then the surprise is gone. If they post the sneak peeks on a Monday however, they can simply post them without ever removing the sneak peek radar in advance.
They are clearly building up the hype by showing the new update to some selected YouTubers and by letting them comment on it. Of course it is not allowed for them to say anything about the content of the new update but SC could also have decided that these people were not allowed to even mention that they saw the new update. Also creating this thread helps to build the hype. Why would they already start building the hype if the update is far away? To me it would not make sense to create hype more then a week before you actually say something about the content. So I think we will see the sneak peaks starting on Monday and the update will be at the 8th or 9th of may.
I actually think you are right because in the reddit vs forums live stream they gave us some hints about the update. Like that reddit guy intentionally saying that the most memorable thing was to play the new update and than changing his words to food..Quote:

I'm thinking it could be more like Boom Beach task force ops. Different groups of villages for the clan to attack in an operation to gain clan XP and rewards. SC already has the core coding so it would be possible to port over to CoC. Reward amounts could be based clan size, op difficulty and amount of total destruction or star points achieved.

Well, there are considerable differences between CoC/BB elements and game play. So even if the core tech is available, a huge amount of coding would still need to be done to accommodate the differences in buildings, AI, troops etc. Easier said than done.Quote:

So, I AM a maxed TH11, waiting for attacks and so far after searching for about 8 hours today I have managed to attack precisely 7 times and seen the little message in the clouds saying 'can't find anyone to attack' 4 times.
I am currently about 5,400 trophies, 18,000th and something globally.
As for being a good clan member, you cannot donate, accept or do anything other than chat whilst the magnifying glass spins around.
After 4 1/2 years playing the game, I can honestly say the 'End Game' of COC is EXTREMELY Boring, and you can see why so many people give up at this stage.
Hopefully the update will radically give us something else to do!!

Yea my money is on sneak peeks starting next week BUT since it's a big update we could see an extended sneak peek season which could push the update out to mid May. But then again if they're actually completely finished with the update then I would think they would cram all the sneak peeks in asap and get it to us the following Tuesday since we've all been waiting for so long and being patient. Wouldn't make sense to have 2 weeks of sneak peeks when update is already ready to go in my opinion.
