Pure speculation here. 11th of May is a Thursday. I doubt they would release such a big update on Friday before the weekend in case of bugs etc. This means the earliest we could see it is the 15th of May. PURE SPECULATION.

It is very likely that we will NOT be seeing sneak peeks for this update - hence the change of update status to radar.




What we know aboat the update:

• Not Town Hall 12.
• No level 13 walls.
• Its unique from any update, and it's huge.
• There will be no new hero levels in this update.
• There will be a boat that needs repairing.

Why blame anyone? What happened? Did something go wrong? Is someone mad? I don't get it...

They're creating hype so they can fill their bank accounts with real life gems, and the best way to do that is to create a game that people are willing to pay for. Part of that means getting people excited about the update. And they are doing a pretty good job at that.

Go to the small banner above the stickies and click Views (where it says Replies/Views) and it will sort for you. In general there are 2 threads with over 2 million views (both were on sneak peaks for updates that happened in 2015), and 2 more that presently have more views than the present sticky.

You might be 3 starring other fully maxed TH11 players on a daily basis but what happens after the update? First choice that you have is if you repair the boat with gems or will you wait (a week)? If you wait you might have already a clear disadvantage in battles. Even if you gem your ship it is unknown if you are just as talented in the new game mode as in the original CoC. So, assuming that there will be a new gamemode, is that good news for everybody? I doubt it.

I'm hoping it's the same attacking and defending dynamic in the rest of CoC but finally in a competitive outlet via 1vs1 mode or clan tournaments

Hype is an echo chamber. Whether SC intended it or not they started it, then a bunch of crazy people continued it. This is the way of public relations. However in the world of Hollywood, the only bad press is not getting any press at all. We'll be talking about this update for at least another week and the hype will continue until then.

I'm not saying it's all SCs fault I'm just saying that there is plenty of blame to go around.

Lach has already said at the beginning of this post it's not coming out on the 11th doesn't mean it will be the twelfth and supercell wouldn't release anew update on a Friday as there may be some glitches to sort. My speculation is that the update will be on the Wednesday the 17th may as with all other updates these have all been on a wednesday so if supercell keep to this routine then guaranteed it will be out by then

Agreed. SC indirectly called this update the most massive we've ever seen. When you don't follow that up with concrete info, everyone is left to speculate on their own. Causing this crazed spam fest we're seeing now. And it won't stop until the update comes out. We can only hope the update delivers, because now it's expected to be the best thing ever, so I'm worried about what happens if it lets a lot of players down.
