If you saw the short video these screen shots were pulled from, if someone was hoaxing, they went through a lot of trouble to do so.
Before Boom Beach Release- Monthly Updates.
After Boom Beach Release- One update in a couple of months.
After Clash Royale Release- One update in 3-5 months.
And they say different teams work on COC, BB and CR. I bet everyone will still defend them.

So what is true is that a big cr update today will not interrupt having a big update in coc tomorrow, but in the long term developers can be moved between projects and a lot of developers have been moved from the coc team to the cr in the development phase. It is common to work woth a full team until release and than with a smaller team on updates.
