Tried searching but I haven't found a definitive answer to this question, how many fields does one need to get 2 drops per reaping everytime? Due to overlap I get 2 drops about 3 out of 4 reapings and on the fourth reaping just one drop. I'm a level 101 with 129 field squares.
you get the drop when you harvest the 77th plot. so you'd need 154 plots to get 2 drops every time.
ETA: i am level 80, and it has been 77 for the last few levels since i started counting (not sure exactly when)

I haven't noticed lately because my barn stays so full, but at one time I thought that if there was no room in the barn, you wouldn't get the drop. Does this still hold true? I know with waking the pets it does, but am not sure about the harvesting.

In answer to original poster question I think it's around level 150-160 that you hit the magic 2 drops per field gathering. which holds tru to the 77-78 fields per. I have a spreadsheet somewhere that has number of fields per level I'll hunt it up and make sure it's still accurate. (at work at the moment so I don't have access to my charts.
I didn't know there was a magic number for the drops. I've been wheating for a long time and since I can remember I have always had 2 drops from each harvest, providing I cover the whole of it.
I'm level 122 and have 139 fields - I thought this was normal?
