I agree with rep system only if negative rep stays and mobile is added. Otherwise scrap it.
Yeah gaz1966, I feel embrassed for those that requested in their post they wished they had the downvote button back.. And it never failed where you found one such request there followed another and another. Myself, I consider that bad forum etiquette.
It did add to the comedy show, imo a negative way usually

The down vote seemed to give some imaginary clout to forum police/ mod wannabes
I voted we don't need the rep system. It is just a popularity contest, kids will start policing and your voice is silenced because of the rep system. Freedom of speech shouldn't have a negative reception.
Oh well. Just my 0.02$. I can already see where this is going.

Given the amount of, shall we say 'professional trolls' on here, the whole system becomes farcical. I have seen people make freshspawn accounts and then seek out mods and gasps and randomly down vote their comments. So yeah ... it's for kids if you ask me. It's not to be taken seriously nor does it bear any meaning to the quality of the post that got voted on.
