My Ideas, for your cosideration, approval, and hopefully not too much disapproval
Note: Because Supercell usually puts new troops and buildings at the highest Town Hall level, and because I am only Town Hall level six, I will not be giving exact states for fear of making them too under or over powered. I shall leave it to Supercell to decide the details. However, I shall be giving intricate descriptions of the troop’s, spell’s, and building’s powers.
Other note: If any of these ideas have already been mentioned by someone else, any likeness is entirely coincidental and accidental. That’s just my little disclaimer. :p
Defenses:
Blizzard Tower: This tower can, as you probably guessed from the name, slow and freeze enemies. It takes either elixir or dark elixir to load. When loaded with elixir, it has average range, shoots at a very high speed like the X-Bow, and slows enemies. It fires ice crystals that look a lot like the X-Bow’s shots. Interestingly, its favorite target is troops that are not already slowed. It will rapid-fire 3-5 shots at one enemy, slow it down, and then move on to the next. This ensures that everyone gets their proper icing. :p When loaded with dark elixir, it has low range, shoots at a speed only slightly faster than a mortar, but has splash damage and freezes enemy troops. It shoots out a large beam of ice for about 3 seconds. When the beam is done, all enemies hit by it are frozen solid. The slow and freeze times depend on the level of the tower. Whether it attack ground, ground and air, or if one attacks ground and the other air, I shall once again let Supercell decide.
Wall Defenders:
In the sticky and in other places I have seen ideas for “poison ivy” on walls. I have also seen ideas for training troops to defend. I was thinking about these two ideas, wondering how they would work. Does the poison ivy just damage anyone who attacks the wall? Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of a wall which is supposed to block attackers, not damage them? And wouldn’t training troops to defend defeat the purpose of a clan castle? Then, this popped into my head: why not combine the two? You would be able to train a small amount of wall defenders (3 housing space at level one; 15 housing space at level five) that would have a limited range to move around on the walls. They can only move between connected walls and could only move a certain amount of space in each direction. Some possible wall defenders are:
Barbarians: The simplest of all the wall defenders. They have low health, medium damage, and attack ground troops will a spear or pike. They take one housing space and have a movement diameter of eleven squares. (five squares in each direction)
Archers: Can attack ground and air troops. Even lower health than the barbarian, and slightly less damage. Take up one housing space and have a movement diameter of nine squares and can shoot arrows three squares.
Goblins: Can attack ground troops. Favorite target: enemies attacking your gold. Goblins can attack ground units and won’t fight if all the attackers are targeting non-resource building. Has low health but high damage. Take up one housing space and have a nine square diameter. Uses a whip which he can swing for two squares.
Wall Bombers: Wall Bombers stay hidden until an enemy comes near. Then, they will pop up and throw their bombs at the attackers! They destroy themselves along when they through the bomb. Does not have a movement diameter but can throw its bomb two squares. Have low health, but high damage and splash damage. They take two housing space and attack ground troops only.
Giant: This wall defender has relatively low hit points, and the worst damage of all the defenders. However, his common sense more than makes up for that. He hurls boulders and both ground and air troops, and has a favorite target of healers, witches, and wallbreakers. He won’t allow these troops to hide behind those invincible golems or cower at the back of their skeleton horde.
Wizard: Has high damage and high health. Can attack ground and air troops. Has a movement diameter of only three squares, though he can shoot another three squares.
Dragon: The dragon is on of the most powerful wall defenders, although he only has a small portion of his normal health and damage. He is chained to his portion of the wall and only has a seven square diameter, although he can shoot another two squares. They take up seven housing space each, and, unlike other wall defenders, can fly between unconnected walls, though he can only shoot when landed on a wall. Has high health and high damage.
Like with clan castle troops, the enemy troops will target wall defenders if they do not already have a favorite target. Only ground and air attacking troops archers, archers, wizards, dragons, minions, etc. can attack the wall defenders. Ground attacking troops barbarian, valkyrie, etc. cannot. However, if the wall on which the wall defenders is destroyed, the wall defenders will perish. The only two ground attacking troops that can attack wall defenders are the hog rider (due to his ability to leap over walls) and the balloon (either from splash damage or once all other defenses are destroyed).
Siege Engines: Siege Engines are powerful weapons of war that can be deployed onto the battlefield. They take a few seconds to construct in which time they can be destroyed, but once built they can turn the tide of battle. In a battle, you use builders to construct them anywhere in the spawn boundaries. If you have three builders, you can build up to three Siege Engines at a time in the battle. When the builders are done building the siege engines, you can send them to construct more. They do not take a builder to train, only to deploy.
Trebuchet: A Trebuchet is basically type of catapult. These are the first siege engines you will unlock. They fling projectiles at the enemy base. Although it has terrible accuracy, it also has splash damage. Because of its lack of accuracy it is not ideal for taking out single buildings, but for softening up the entire base. It has ten range, and a two space diameter similar to the mortar.
Ballista: In medieval times, Ballista were giant crossbows that were used to snipe single men. (The X-bow looks much like a Ballista) The Ballista only targets clan castle troops and defending heroes. They have nine range, and can shoot over walls. If there are no clan castle troops or heroes, the Ballista will not attack buildings and will remain inactive. It has a limited amount of shots per battle.
These are my humble (and not so humble) ideas. Enjoy! :)
Let Supercell decide, eh?
I like the concept and how its fairly thought out, but giving stats seperates it from the rest of the pack. Supercell can always change them.
