Currently the double XP/Rep event is on, I'm curious as to how much this event changes your town play.
Personally I play town much more this event as you finally get some good rep, I'm working how many others do the same.
I serve ALL visitors during a double xp/rep event only. All other times I only serve those that ask for two or one building.
As I said before I serve all visitors all the time I think the prize at the end of it makes it worth it.
I don't do anything different than non event towning :blush:
I have two questions about the town event ,
1 ) why do anything different during a town event if you have a good way to play the town normally ?
2 ) many say they feed all all visitors , the ones going to 3 places to , how do you get them in your buildings ?
I have all room and max speed on all buildings and if try to feed all visitors I get a queue ! and cant get Max number off visitors in to the town even if I feed all immediaely .
And to miss arriveing visitors mean lesser in to the team .
I have 2 farms town levels is 43 and 42 ,
Lyngby, I might not understand well enough... but I serve and stack my townies to prepare for derby tasks, and often have 42 in my town all in various served states (1/3, 2/3, 3/3, 1/1, etc). I don't worry about sending them away unless they are asking for something that I find ridiculous. I just serve and let them stack, utilizing the town hall to serve any new townies who arrive, until my town is completely full. During 2xp, I don't worry about stacking them (mostly b/c I am done derby). I just serve and get exp as fast as possible.
I serve everyone as usual. I just visit the town more often, about 100 times per hour. ;)

Nothing different here -- I serve everyone always! (unless they ask for crazy stuff)
To answer Lyngby's question: I am in a small NH, so can't pick up ten townies with my personal train every 1 1/2 hours. I rarely have a back log.
Oh, but I *might* spend diamonds to speed up my personal train if one of my neighbor's has ten people!
Same as usual here. I try and serve all visitors unless they are super greedy. I serve and stack visitors during the derby too.
I do like this event though. Events with double XP are definitely my favourite😀😀😀
I serve visitors wanting 2 or 3 shops, send away those wanting hard stuff like blankets (I can never pluck enough feathers).
I flush the served visitors from two buildings every now and then so hopefully have 30 fully served remaining.

Town is fun, but reputation is slow...wish we had this event more often; or be able to accumulate rep a bit faster. Maybe there should be town boosters for extra xp/rep while activated?
I love the town and serve nearly all of the people all of the time, although I will send away anyone with a request that's too needy e.g. 12 sugar
Love the idea for a town booster - and if there's a 20 point jump in serving townies during the 2xRP/XP events, that is SIGNIFICANT!!Quote:

During this last town event I leveled up both in town and on the farm -- got 24 diamonds on the farm level up, and 1 in town level-up. That town level reward MUST be changed, IMHO.
