Resending Invitations to others to join group

Currently I find if I have sent an invitation to someone to join group it only allows me to send one invitation. After that first one sent it will not send another or are you able to tell whether person declined or never read.

I suggest we should be able to ask someone again to join group because perhaps they may have not paid attention to request at the time. We additionally need a prompt that tells sender received and/or will join/decline at this time.

NNNNOoooooooo please! I just had to block several people who sent me multiple invitations (one right after another, as soon as I declined). I found it to be quite harassing and stalkerish. So please, please, please no thank you!

Hello and welcome to the forum.

I've recently received an invitation to join the neighbourhood of someone I follow. I'm unlikely to take up the offer (but was flattered to be asked!)

When you receive such an invitation you are unlikely to miss it, as you get a red notification on the envelope tab near the chat one.

I've left the invitation sitting on my envelope tab. By not declining it, I think it will probably stop the person from being able to invite me again. I certainly haven't had a second invitation yet. If I do, I will report back.
