Hi im SAS™ co leader of Cold War #P0PVLQLL
What is the best strategy or tips to coordinate a war? We use clash caller but the members aren't really using it that much, im looking to be a war coordinator but don't know where to star,

You might just need better members, if they can't even figure out clash caller. That's the most simple method there is.
We don't use Clash Caller. I use warmatch.us to plan the attacks -- some other clans I know use Clash Caller also for that purpose.
Then I just use clan mail to describe the plan. The rest happens in chat and more clan mails. The biggest war we have is 40x40 and this mechanism works fine for us.

Make sure you retain a friendly environment, have fun at times and when its about war, make sure people listen to you, if the authority is let lose then it results in people losing interest in wars. Also try to organize timings like first 6-12 hours all players Th9 and below are supposed to clear any base they feel confident they can 3 star. And be there to cheer them when they succeed, or explain to them what went wrong if they fail. This will help you all work as a team and you are always able to help weak players with fcs and by explaining game physics to them.
All i ever do after 1 year of leadership experience is just notify players to attack on time, and wish them luck. They feel confident when they're let lose to attack anyone they want, and it has made us grow into a really friendly and active clan. We win about 80% of the time.

If your members don't want to use it then they're definitely not going to use any of the more advanced methods. I would do what I can using clan mail with other co leaders.
The best way imo is to use a combination of warmatch.us, skitch and discord.
We use ClashCaller in my clan, and it's awesome. My mini is in a clan that uses warmatch.us, but I find that to be much more confusing for the average person to figure out. ClashCaller is very simple and easy to use. Like someone mentioned above, maybe you need better members.
What does your clan's war base breakdown normally look like?

My Main Clan uses Clashcaller as well. I advocate for it aswell. its simple enough, and you can leave notes/comments on the app. its a simple web page. it keeps track of the number of stars and helps to organize first and follow up hits. we send a clan mail with the code and have participants sign up.
I would recommend a 'General' or maybe a G1 G2 situation. this person(s) needs to be active and able to evaluate your team's strengths pretty well; so they can advise which army/strat is good for the rival's bases and their layouts. They also should be strong attackers if not your best. it just helps when they know how to dissect a base and can recommend which troop/spell combos should be up against the rivals base layouts (If your line up is in doubt).

Out of game communication is critical
We use a private Facebook group to get organized, and it's fantastic.
We also use our YouTube channel to showcase / promote good attacks and strategies.
These are two shared resources we have and they really, really help get ppl into the same page.
