Laid back, successful, level12 clan looking for non-rushed TH8+. Hockey fans a plus

Hi there. Edmonton Oilers is a level 12 clan that does mostly 15-20 person wars with a mix of th8-th11 (mostly th9-th10). We are 32-3 in our last 35 wars and currently have a win streak of 6. We are adults and most have been together for quite a while -- international, but heavy on Canadians from the Edmonton area. We take warring seriously, but we aren't hardcore (i.e. we don't use third party communication apps or kick people who struggle to 3* but are at least trying). We have fun, like friendly challenges and talking hockey (Go Oilers!), and have no tolerance for drama or divisiveness. We are flexible in how people upgrade their villages but are pretty weight-conscious, with a good amount of 9.5s and one or two more-heavily engineered accounts (though if you can support your weight, by all means drop the big ones). With very few exceptions we don't allow warring without full heroes. Once a season we combine with another clan to do a bigger (40 or 50) war. Clan merge possibilities are always entertained, too (we currently have 32 members).

We are always looking to grow and would love for you to come by and do some friendlies and/or get in our war rotation. We don't typically accept new members during war (which is almost constant), so please mention "Tremblor from the Forums" in your request. Cheers -- we hope to see you soon!

Bumpty-bump! Win streak up to 7. Joined forces with a friendly clan for a bigger war, which we do once a month or so. Tough matchup -- we are out-engineered -- so I am glad we are doing the war from their clan (risking their streak of 5). If you are active and mature, please come check us out. Doing the daily (I hope) bump and grind. Big war was close, but we were out-engineered. Again, glad it didn't affect OUR war log. With the Edmonton Oilers first second-round playoff game tonight, today would be a great opportunity to get in on the fun! Lots of hockey talk during the Oiler games (you don't have to be an Oilers fan, but you will probably have a hard time getting along if you root for the Flames). Another day, another bump. Nice win for the Oilers in Stanley Cup playoffs round 2 last night against the Ducks (quack, quack!). Clan got a good-looking (fair) match against some more-heavily engineered folks. A lot of our th9s moved to 9.5s in the past month or so, so not a whole lot of infernos on our th10s. I keep saying I will drop one on my account (over half lava walls, 35/40 heroes, no new th10 defenses, splash damage not upgraded yet, all cannons/ATs/traps maxed), but we keep winning with a heavy 9.5 roster, so it's a tough decision.

So, dear reader, I assume you are checking out your options for a new clan to call home. Are there specific things you are looking for in a clan that we don't offer (or might offer, but you aren't sure)? I would love some feedback! Cheers

Daily Bump. Not that anyone is going to read this anyway. You are all probably too fancy and meta for our clan of "normals". So go ahead, keep scrolling. I will keep chopping off a little piece of my pinky toe every day until our clan gets filled.

Hmm, that hurt more than I expected. Will put off second piece a couple of days but continue if I don't get some people to come by soon. Streak up to 9. War starts in a couple of hours; fair matchup, will be close.

Did another big war, combined with a different clan for a 40v40. Ran into hyper-engineers who perfected us after getting plenty of chances on our max th11. Oh well, again it wasn't on our war log. Today is the day to join our clan -- we are waiting till tonight to declare, so no worries about spies. That, and game 7 of the Oilers/Ducks playoff game coming up Wednesday -- go Oilers!!!
