Challenging conventional gameplay - Vanguard Knight

Most bases are designed the same way. Cannons in the outer perimeter and splash in the core.
I'm suggesting a troop that challenges this conventional way of base designing.
The Vanguard Knight wears a shield, a chest armor and a pike.
The shield and armor protects the knight from cannon and archer fire, so he only takes 50 % damage from these (point defenses).
The Vanguard Knight is however weak on all other sides, so he takes 200 % damage from splash (wizard towers and mortars).
This unit will require strategy in deploying = more fun.

5 levels, level 1 stats:
HP: 300
Attack speed: 1
Damage/DPS: 130 (x2 against cannons, archer towers and Xbows)
Elixir: 3000 or DE: 100
Housing: 3
Movement speed: 10
