The question is, can the makers make a reservation possibility, if necessary, with a time limit of 5 hours would be excellent, you can work ahead in the task
My nh is currently 29/30. If players could reserve tasks, it would be a nightmare. Some players will prep for a variety of tasks, but no one is guaranteed to either see them come up in derby, or to take them when they do. We do not reserve tasks - in order to keep drama out. Sometimes we will announce something we have prepped in chat, but again, there are no tasks reserved. It works for us.
Some teams organize which players will prep for which tasks. You might appreciate being part of one of those super-organized neighborhoods. :)
I totally agree. Reserving tasks might work for small hoods, but it would be a nightmare for large hoods that sometimes struggle to get enough decent tasks for everyone.Quote:

I think reserving the tasks you want puts the focus on doing what is best for one person above the team. Depending on your nh's playing style, you are either team-focused or self-focused. If you have an individual/self-focused nh, reserving tasks is a fabulous idea, especially if you never chat. For those neighborhoods who are team-focused, it is a horrible idea that would only bring about mass destruction and annihilation of the nh.
Keep the competition focused outside of your neighborhood: it is the best measure of success and the only win that counts.
